PASTURE PET ONLY Raven is a 2008 Thoroughbred mare who stands 15 hands tall and weighs 1,000 lbs. Raven is a very active mare looking for her forever home as a pasture pet. She prefers full turnout and can hold her own in a herd of mares and geldings. Raven has a condition that causes narrowing between her spinal vertebrae, which is commonly known as Kissing Spine. This condition can cause pain in the horse's back when riding. For this reason, Raven is available as a pasture pet only. Raven is easy to work for confident handlers, however, she needs consistency with her handler and she will test her boundaries with beginners. Raven picks up all 4 feet and will stand tied to be groomed. Raven is a smart and social mare and would excel with groundwork and could easily learn tricks and to work at liberty.
