Max is a Domestic Shorthair brown tabby cat who is looking for a new home. Max was surrendered to the shelter because he started spraying in his former home after new cats were introduced nearby. Since being in our care Max has had no issues with spraying, has been neutered, and is litterbox trained. We've come to learn that he also gets along with other cats and children. Max does not get along with dogs and we are unsure how he behaves with small animals. Max is a chill cat who spends most of his time in the window sill people-watching. When he's not spying he's at your feet rolling around for attention. He has proven to be an extroverted, affectionate, and easy-to-please boy! If you are interested in meeting Max please give us a call at 419-294-4477 to schedule an appointment! WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required) The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.) Step 2— Pick up your new pet! Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.) *Return Policy: If an adopter cannot keep an adopted pet for any reason, the animal must be returned to WCHS. Because of our strict return policy, adoptions to homes more than 100 miles away will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
