Hey there, I’m Dutton! A 4-year-old pit mix with striking black and white fur, and I’m looking for my forever match. At 55 lbs., I may seem like a big guy, but I’m all heart and zero hassle. I’m potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained—though between you and me, you won’t need the crate because I’m a perfect gentleman in the home and won’t mess with a thing. I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve too! I’ll sit on command and am always ready to shake paws—nice to meet you! I’m super friendly and love being around other dogs. My current housemates include tiny pups like an 8 lb chihuahua and a 14 lb chihuahua mix, as well as two larger females. I get along with them all like a dream! While I haven’t met a cat yet, I’m happy to be tested around them if that’s important to you. Oh, and food guarding? Not my style—I’m polite about mealtime despite once being underweight and in need of extra love. Thanks to some great care, I’ve been vaccinated and successfully treated for heartworms, so I’m ready to be your healthy, happy companion. I’m currently in Seymour, TN, but I’m open to long-distance love—I can be transported out of state for the right home (there’s a transport fee).
