Sweet Ana is a 5 year-old-Havanese. She is a puppy mill mama release who is learning how to be a dog and how wonderful love is. She may have applications in progress, but is currently available. Like most mill mamas, Ana is timid and it takes her some time to learn she can trust you. She gets along great with other dogs and has not yet met a cat. She will do best in a home that has a resident small dog (to help show her the ropes) and a fenced in backyard as she is currently scared of a leash. Additionally, small children may not be ideal - though she has currently not met children. She is working on house training and with someone willing to give her the time and love she needs to learn how to be a dog, she will be a wonderful companion. In just a short time in her foster home, once she felt safe, her sweet personality has started to show and she loves to be with her foster mom and does the cutest tap dance to show how happy she is. Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
