This cute pup is the social butterfly at the dog park and has lots of energy to chase her doggie friends. She is a favorite with people and children, and gets excited to meet them. She loves to play fetch with a tennis ball or her toys. She brings them back most of the time! She would benefit from having someone who enjoys being active or hikes. She rides really well in the car and is ready for her next adventure. With all that energy and since she is still a puppy she tends to get bored and will chew. You have to be prepared and have things for her to chew on. She is crate trained and doesn't mind sleeping in it. She is very curious about everthing including frogs, birds, and bugs, too! She would be a dog that is ready to roll and have a fun day. She loves to cuddle with you and loves to lay on laps. Very affectionate dog with lots of love to share with you and your family. She hasn't met anyone she doesn't like. She loves children and gets along well with other dogs, so she would be perfect for a family. Leia is a very curious dog and is always eager to explore the world around her. She loves going on walks and will always be by your side. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our adoption fee is $ plus health certificate and transport (varies by location). Transport & health certificate feee won’t be necessary if you are able to travel to the dog directly. This fee includes current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), fecal analysis, spay/neuter for dogs 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if 6 months & older. If dog is under 6 months, then $100 of adoption fee is refunded when mandatory spay/neuter is proven to be completed at 6 months of age. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
