Three Rhode Island Red chickens and a rooster are available for adoption! They were surrendered to the shelter because the females stopped laying eggs. At the time of surrender they were molting and once done began relaying eggs. They will require an area that is secure and can provide proper protection from predators and weather changes. These birds are PETS ONLY and will be adopted as such. They can NEVER be processed for food.
