Meet Bunny, a 3 year old, 10 pound Miniature Poodle who's as unique as his name. Bunny is a gentle, sensitive soul who's still learning to trust the world. He's cautious around new people and places, and prefers to come around on his own terms but once he does, he'll melt your heart with little nose boops and quiet requests for head scratches. He's currently in foster care and doing well, but he needs a specific kind of home to truly thrive: calm, low-key, and not crowded with dogs or people. Bunny bonds more deeply when he's not lost in a pack. A home with just a couple of other mellow pups (or even as a solo dog) and a patient person willing to go at his pace would be ideal. He loves other dogs, and watching him play is pure joy. But don't be fooled, he's also a clever little escape artist who checks fences for holes and can dart past your legs like lightning. Secure fencing and doors, and a watchful eye, are a must! While he may seem timid at first, Bunny has made huge strides in foster care, now accepting being picked up and seeking affection more and more. If you're the kind of person who finds joy in the quiet victories (the first tail wag, the first snuggle, the first time he chooses you), Bunny might just be your perfect match.
