Triton Meet Triton, a charming 5-month-old black and rust puppy with long, soft ears. This affectionate, playful, and irresistibly cuddly puppy is the kind of companion who will quietly capture your heart and maybe a shoe or two (do not worry, he simply stores them in his crate for safekeeping—he reserves his chewing for toys!). This sweet boy is making great strides in his foster home. He’s picking up house training like a champ, including keeping his kennel dry overnight! He is already crating calmly at mealtimes and bedtime and sleeps soundly all night. He's learning the basic commands (he’ll sit for treats with a proud little tail nub wiggle) and he delights in all kinds of toys (especially the squeaky and tasty ones!) He’ll need some continued practice on a leash, but eagerly loads into cars for rides and travels like a dream! Triton has a wonderful ability to play harmoniously with other dogs, making him an excellent fit for a household with a confident canine companion who can guide him. With an active lifestyle and plenty of engagement, he can thrive as either a solo dog or part of a pack. Although Triton can be somewhat apprehensive around sudden noises or rapid movements, his foster family is providing guidance and support to help him build confidence. With patience and love, Triton is blossoming into the happy, trusting dog he was always meant to be.
