Merida

Columbus OH 43221

MERIDA DOB: ~04/15/2023 Female, 10lbs Like her buddies/roommates, Cheese and Killian, Merida was rescued from a life outdoors walking, hiding and trying to find food and shelter. She, along with Cheese and Killian had been living together near the dumpsters by some apartments on Sawmill Road. The three of them lived together there for over a year before we heard about them and went out to help on one cold February day. Merida was the youngest of the three. She is shy like the others but loves all other cats, is afraid but curious about her foster family. She follows them around and watches from a distance. She peeks out at them from her cat tree or from behind the computer monitor…but she won’t let them pet her yet. She loves the kittens that are fostered and plays with them and is a sweet little girl that has just been through a lot in her short young life. We are hoping that with time she will learn to trust people and know that she is finally safe. --- If you are interested in learning more about this cat, please complete an online adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/251950332045046 We do not have a shelter or sanctuary. All pets are cared for in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. We require a home visit as part of the application process. We are only able to coordinate home visits where we have local volunteers. All of the cats in our care and available for adoption have been rescued from shelters, the streets or from neglect or abuse situations. We do our best to determine the given breed or breeds of any cat or kitten in our program based on our experience and advice of professionals.
