Meet Rhett! This handsome guy is just about 9 months old. He is incredibly sweet! He is just about housebroken, and crate trained. He walks pretty well on a leash, and knows sit, and lay down! Rhett absolutely loves squeaky toys, and is very food motivated which makes training easy! He’d be an absolutely awesome obedience partner, agility star, or hiking buddy. He is a young cattle dog so he is definitely energetic, but he does have a nice off switch once you get his energy out. He is a bit shy to start, but warms up quickly. He is good with quiet and respectful older kids, but due to his age he’s obviously still learning not to jump or mouth. He co-exists well with multiple other dogs, and is not dog reactive. He would be a great only dog, or appreciate another young similar sized dog that would play and roughhouse with him! Rhett is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on heart worm and flea prevention. BACDR’s adoption fee is $350. We do require all adopters take a positive based basic obedience class near them after adoption. Rhett is being fostered near Mansfield, Ohio.
