Meet Rip Wheeler! Rip Wheeler is a resilient and affectionate Blue Heeler tripod with striking brown eyes, one adorable floppy ear, freckled feet, and a wagging nub tail. Despite missing a leg, he is full of energy and loves to play, especially fetch! He thrives on engagement, always eager to interact with his people, and will happily bark to get your attention. Rip adores everyone he meets—people, kids, dogs, and even cats. He has been around young children (1-2 years old) and does well with them. He enjoys enrichment chews and anything he can lick or sniff, making mental stimulation just as important as physical exercise for him. A big backyard would be ideal for Rip to run and explore, but he does have escape tendencies, so a secure fence is a must. Leash walks are a great outlet for his energy, though he is still learning not to pull. Crates make him anxious, and he tends to get restless in the car, so he’ll need some patience and positive reinforcement in these areas. Potty training is a work in progress, but he’s a smart boy eager to learn with consistency.
