We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Pearl-Sue – a 4-year-old, 63-pound spayed Pitbull mix with soulful eyes, a wagging tail, and a heart full of love. Pearl-Sue is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! This gentle, low-key girl has been through more than her fair share of hardships. She was found on the streets with her puppies, doing her best to care for them despite the odds stacked against her. Through it all, she stayed strong—and thanks to the kindness of rescuers and her devoted foster, she’s now safe, healing, and ready for her next chapter. True to her mellow nature, Pearl-Sue thrives in a calm, relaxed home. She’s fully housebroken, doesn't need to be crated, and has no separation anxiety. She doesn’t play with toys but enjoys chewing on a good bone and being close to her people. Affection is her love language—she’ll gently paw at you to remind you it’s time for pets. Pearl-Sue gets along well with respectful dogs and has been good with dogs of all ages, including puppies. She prefers calm companions and may not mesh well with dominant or overly pushy females, but she’s wonderfully intuitive about knowing when to engage and when to keep to herself. She'd do just fine as a solo dog or with a well-matched canine friend. She’s also great with kids who understand a dog’s need for space and gentle interaction. On leash, Pearl-Sue is a dream—she walks nicely without pulling and may let out a little whine when she sees other dogs, but it’s all part of her charm. She’s not a fan of cats or small critters, so a home without them is best. She also prefers to skip long car rides and would love a quiet life with familiar routines and cozy spaces, especially during thunderstorms. Her foster says Pearl-Sue wears her heart on her tail—it’s always wagging, even when she’s just relaxing by your side. She’s soft, sweet, and ready to be someone’s whole world.
