Welcome Phineas to Stop the Suffering! Phineas is a 4-5 month old, male, shepherd mix and he could not be any more handsome if you ask us. Phineas is doing great in his foster home - he's working on his housebreaking and getting better every day. He's loved every person he's met, both young and old alike - just give him attention and scratches and he loves you! Like most shepards, he will likely be a pretty large dog when he's fully grown, which just means even more Phineas to love. He is an active, goofy, playful puppy that cannot seem to go more than a few feet before tripping on his own feet. He is also great on a leash and starting to work on some basic obedience. This lovable and energetic boy knows how to take a good nap too! Friendly with other dogs, he enjoys playtime, making him a great fit for a family with furry friends. Phineas is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is currently learning basic commands. He responds well to positive reinforcement, especially when treats are involved! He would thrive in a home that provides plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and the love he deserves. Whether going for walks, playing fetch, or lounging around, he's sure to bring joy to any household. His adaptability and friendliness make him a wonderful match for families, singles, or anyone looking for a furry companion. Adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
