Meet Princess Leia – Queen of Cuddles & Commander of Zoomies! Calling all active adventurers! Princess Leia is here to steal your heart (and maybe your tennis balls). This 3-year-old, 55lb Pittie mix is a shining star full of joy, love, and enthusiasm for life. With her adorable smile and wiggle-butt energy, it’s hard to believe this sweet girl was once on the euthanasia list—for being too happy and too energetic. (We know, we can’t believe it either.) Thankfully, Leia was rescued just in time, and she’s now looking for a forever home that embraces her zest for life! The Basics: • Spayed female • Up to date on vaccines • Heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives • House trained and crate trained • Knows commands: sit, come, stay, off, heel • Treat-motivated and eager to please • Born 11/14/2021 Personality Plus: Leia is all about fun, adventure, and love. She lives for car rides, squeaky toys, and playtime with her favorite humans. She’s a quick learner who responds well to structure and affection—just ask her to sit, and she’ll be on her best behavior in no time. Energy Level: High-energy and full of bounce, Leia would thrive with someone who enjoys hiking, running, long walks, or even agility training. She also loves to chew (puppy style!), so her humans should provide her with the good stuff—Kongs, bully sticks, and safe chew toys. Dog-Friendly: Leia is great with medium and large dogs and enjoys a playmate who can match her energy. She’s friendly with small dogs and cats but may be a bit much for them unless they’re sturdy and confident. Ideal Home: Leia is not an apartment pup—she needs a fenced yard where she can run and play. Her dream home includes: • A confident, experienced dog owner who sets boundaries with love • An active lifestyle • Older kids (due to her bouncy enthusiasm) • A doggie sibling (optional but awesome!) who enjoys playtime as much as she does Why Leia?
