Doc is a sweet 12-week-old Great Pyrenees pup, currently weighing around 34 pounds. He’s the perfect mix of playful and mellow—he loves romping around with his brother, but he’s also a total cuddle bug who’s happiest lounging next to his person, soaking up belly rubs. One of Doc’s favorite things is simply following his human around— Whether you're relaxing on the couch or puttering around the yard, Doc will be right by your side. He’s a smart and calm boy who’s catching on quickly with his potty training. Doc would thrive in a loving home ready to give him the time, attention every young pup needs. Because of his breed and size, a secure yard is required for adoption. Doc will not be adopted out as a working or livestock guardian dog—he’s looking for a life as a cherished companion. Doc is being fostered in Austin, TX but we can have her brought to OH on rescue transport-transportation. His fee is $400 -$30 per dog for a health certificate and $250 per dog for transport. Our application to adopt can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org Once your application has been approved one of our team members will contact you to set up a phone and facetime interview. We select the best applicant for each animal based on each individual animal. Once approved, your dog will be scheduled for transport from TX in Climate-controlled vans. Each transport has two drivers who alternate—one drives while the other updates a group chat where you'll receive real-time updates, exact arrival location, and estimated time. While we aim to be on time, delays due to traffic or weather are possible and will be communicated. Dogs travel safely in crates and stop regularly for food, walks, and bathroom breaks.
