Like every glorious baby beast, Dart will need potty training, basic manners, and someone willing to puppy-proof like their life depends on it. In return? Approximate Birth Date - 04/25/2025 Size - Small (for now) 16lbs Likes: Dramatic sighs, unauthorized snack theft, and pretending the pee puddle isn’t his fault. House Training - Dart is not currently house trained and will require time/patience on this front. Other dogs - Dart is a puppy and will most likely do great with other dogs. it's just going to depend on if your dog can handle the puppy energy. **In Order to adopt an unspayed/unneutered dog from HSMC, You must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "Foster to Adopt" the dog and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the dog back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $21, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
