Meet Talya, a shy but incredibly affectionate 9-month-old girl who just needs a little time and love to reveal her true, gentle nature. Though she can be reserved at first, once Talya warms up, she becomes a sweet and loving companion who bonds deeply with her humans. Her true confidence shines when she’s around other dogs, and she absolutely thrives in their company. Playtime with her canine friends is where she feels happiest and most secure. Talya is already crate-trained and potty-trained, and she’s eager to show off her smarts—especially when there are treats involved! She quickly sits on command and is ready to learn more in the hands of a patient, loving family. While Talya does struggle with her confidence, especially when left alone, she has the potential to blossom with the right guidance and support. A home with at least one other dog would be ideal for her, as she takes great comfort in having a furry friend by her side to show her the ropes. With a patient, understanding family who can provide her with plenty of love, reassurance, and a calm environment, Talya will learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. Talya’s future is bright, and she’s looking for a family who can help her build her confidence and enjoy all the love, fun, and security life has to offer. She’s a gentle soul who needs a peaceful, nurturing environment where she can feel safe and supported as she continues to grow. Talya is currently located in a foster home in Texas and is waiting for her forever family to help her flourish. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.
