** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** This little cutie pie is Mickey! Mickey and his siblings came to us through no fault of their own but only after their owner passed away. Mickey has an estimated birthdate of 5/16/25, so he's about 11 weeks old. Mickey and his siblings have been lucky enough to live in a foster home since coming to us, and that is where they currently reside. Mickey loves nothing more than to play up a storm and wrestle around with his siblings, and his best friend is his brother, Tony. His foster mom says that he's a very happy, curious and affectionate kitten. He loves to snuggle and also loves to play with toys too and his favorites are crumpled paper and crinkle balls. He also loves things that have bells on them. He loves a soft warm bed to snuggle up in as well. He's a champion litter box user and a huge fan of canned food and would love to continue to receive that in his forever home. It would be ideal if Mickey could be adopted with another kitten, especially his brother and best friend Tony. Kittens adopted in pairs do so much better than kittens that at are adopted alone. Single kitten syndrome is a real thing and no one wants a Kittenzilla in their home! This little cutie gets along great with the older cats in his foster home and is also great with kids. He hasn't met any dogs yet, but being so young he would be fine with a cat friendly and gentle dog. Would you like to meet the sweet as can be Mickey and hopefully Tony too? If so, please complete an application and schedule a meet and greet once your application is approved. Remember that this little cutie lives in a foster home and is not at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled.
