***Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time*** We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Aaron's story is one of heartbreak and hope. He and his six siblings were found literally discarded in a trash can — thrown away like garbage. But thanks to one of our amazing foster families, these precious puppies got a second chance. Now, Aaron is growing up surrounded by love, learning what it means to be safe, cherished, and wanted. Aaron is a 5-month-old, neutered male, currently weighing about 15 pounds. We believe he may be a Spaniel/Terrier mix, but that’s just our best guess — no DNA test on file, and no promises on how big he'll get! What we do know is that he's adorable, spirited, and full of potential. He is located in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and is able to transport out of State once an adopter is approved. Meet Aaron! This energetic little guy is full of life and puppy curiosity. Like most young puppies, Aaron isn’t housebroken or crate trained yet. He’ll need a patient, consistent family who understands that raising a puppy takes time, routine, and lots of guidance. The good news? Aaron is smart, eager to learn, and naturally curious — all the makings of a great student! Aaron is well-socialized with his siblings and the other dogs in his foster home, and he’s had some exposure to children, too. We don’t know how he’d do with cats just yet, as he hasn’t met any. He’s active, playful, and still discovering the world. Because he hasn’t had much experience outside his home environment, he may be a bit shy or nervous in new situations. His ideal home will be one that’s excited to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog — with lots of positive experiences, structure, and love along the way. Due to his age, we expect someone to be home more often than not. Puppies this young shouldn’t be left alone for longer than 4 hours at a time. If you work outside of the home, please include in your application who will be stopping by each day to let Aaron out, spend time with him, and continue his routine. If this isn’t clearly outlined, we won’t be able to consider your application. Aaron is a survivor. Now, he’s ready to find a family who sees him not as a burden, but as the treasure he truly is. Ready to give Aaron the life he deserves? ? ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him?
