Misty is a 4-year-old Bichon Frise who recently joined Stop the Suffering after being rescued from life as a puppy mill mom. She's slowly but surely learning that the world isn't so scary and she's doing it one brave step at a time. Her secret weapon? FOMO! Misty watches her furry foster siblings closely, and when they go in for affection, she's right behind them, seeking out her share of pets. She finds comfort and confidence in the company of other dogs, so a home with another friendly dog would be ideal to help her continue to blossom. Speaking of watching, she LOVES to watch TV. It truly mesmerizes her. Like many mill survivors, Misty is terrified of leashes and not yet comfortable with being walked. Because of her fear and her tendency to bolt, she is considered a flight risk. For her safety, we are requiring a securely fenced yard in her future home. Misty is a gentle soul who's learning to trust and love, and with patience, compassion, and a stable routine, she'll continue to grow into the loving companion we know she can be. Adoption fee is $375.00 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.
