We welcomed a group of 4 Standards Poodles from a truly heartbreaking situation. They were loved once, but some devastating circumstances resulted in their situation. Rescue angels have helped them along the way and they are starting a new life through Dogwood. The two adult females, a black and apricot are said to be 3-4 years old, and the two pups, a male and female, are 9 weeks old. Yvette is the mom to the pups and she's truly skeletal at 39 pounds even after receiving good care after rescue and before coming to Dogwood. We'll be assessing if there are other medical factors involved. The adults should be around 50 pounds at healthy weight and we expect the pups to be similar at maturity, although the male pup could easily be larger. The dogs all have sweet temperaments and will be adoptable after medical clearance and spay/neuter.
