Esther is a sweet, 3-year-old Bichon who's learning what it means to feel safe and loved for the very first time. Rescued from a life as a puppy mill mom by Stop the Suffering, Esther is slowly discovering that the world isn't as scary as it once seemed. Though still timid at times, Esther seeks out affection from her people, finding comfort in calm voices, gentle hands, and quiet companionship. She's not the type to bound into your lap right away, but give her a little time, and she'll reward you with tender loyalty and peaceful presence. Unlike many former mill moms, Esther does well on a leash: she doesn't pull and she prefers to stay close, always checking in with her person. This makes her an ideal walking buddy for someone who enjoys slow, serene strolls and shared moments of calm. Esther would thrive in a relaxed, low-stress home with a patient adopter who understands her journey. A quiet household with a soft bed, kind words, and maybe even a gentle furry friend would be the perfect setting for her next chapter.
