** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** Say hello to the little darling known as Martini. This practically perfect little girl was brought to us through no fault of her own, but only after her previous owner was unable to care for her. Martini has an estimated birth date of 5/7/25, so she's just 13 weeks old. Martini is an absolute sweetheart and you will fall in love with her as much as we have. She is a total lovebug, and purrs up a storm when she gets love and attention. She's super playful and curious, and can't get enough play time. She loves soft, cozy cat beds, and has a ball with cat toys with feathers on them. She seems to get along just fine with other kitties that she's met, so she would likely do well in a home with other feline friends. Most kitties love having a feline companion, and we think that Martini is no exception. She lived in a home with a dog, so she's accustomed to being around them. The biggest thing to be sure of is that any dog that she cohabitates with is gentle and cat-friendly. With her sweet disposition, this little darling would be a wonderful friend for a child.
