Tsunami came to us shortly after her kittens were born in an unsafe area. She protected her kittens from a dog attack and some misguided human interactions before we were able to save them. Mama Tsu was a very caring mama and took excellent care of her kittens. Her time as a mama is over now that she is spayed and looking for her forever home. Tsunami is sweet and affectionate. Shes cautious of new people but once she knows you have no ill intentions, she will begin rubbing on you, cuddling, making biscuits, and even dancing around you for attention. Meet Nabisco (aka Floof): A Tiny Tabby with a Big Heart to Grow Into Nabisco, affectionately nicknamed Floof, is a petite brown tabby with a soft short coat, soulful eyes, and a personality thats equal parts shy and sweet. Though shes just over a year old (with a May birthday!), shes still about the size of a 6-month-old kittenforever baby-sized in the most adorable way. Floof is the last of her litter waiting for her forever home. All of her siblings were adopted during kittenhood, but this little butterball stuck around a bit longernot because shes any less special, but because shes still learning how to trust the world. Starlight originally came to the sanctuary because she was rumored to be leukemia positive due to an inaccurate witness test. (Witness tests are known to only be about 70% accurate. We prefer to use Idexx snap tests which are much more reliable.) She tested negative for any signs of the virus when we preformed our own tests.To be 100% positive, we sent out blood to lab for further analysis. The lab showed that she had no signs of the virus in her system. After that, she was completely vetted and is now ready for a forever home. Meet sweet siblings Orva & Wilbur Wright. They are not your typical cats and require a very special home. Orva & Wilbur have spent their lives bouncing from home to home never getting a chance to settle in and feel comfortable. They are very shy at first and it takes them a while to feel comfortable in new settings. They will need plenty of time and patience at first. When scared, they will hide under or behind anything possible. The only consistency in their lives has been each other. Wilbur has been diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), aka Wobbly cat syndrome. This is a congenital condition that will effect him throughout his life. You may notice small tremors when hes sitting still. He stumbles while he walks, but is otherwise able to function normally. His sister, Orva, is very protective of her brother. She is his constant companion always by his side. She places herself in front of Wilbur protecting him from any potential threats. She will check you out to make sure you are worthy of meeting her brother. If you pass Orvas inspection you will find yourself cuddling two loving adorable purr machines. They still flinch at sudden movements, but actively seek scritches and cuddles when relaxed. Even when given a large space to live in, Orva is always by Wilburs side. They must remain together. We feel that separating them would have immediate negative impact upon their health and mental well being. Orva and Wilbur also suffer from chronic irritable bowel syndrome. This condition is exacerbated by stress and changes in their environment. We have placed them on a chicken and grain free diet to help with this condition. We recommend daily wet food to help their digestion. Additionally both have Feline herpes virus presenting in Orva is a lovely redish orange large spayed female born around November 2018. She has some white accents on her paws and underside. Wilbur is a handsome white and orange neutered male also born around November 2018. He has a pink heart shaped nose This special pair needs to find their furever home. They need a special human who will give them the time and care to settle in and become comfortable.
