MR MOSBY
Adult • Male • Medium
Mr. Mosby Very sweet laid back cat, loves attention and being held. Coexists with dogs and cats fine as long as they leave him alone, though he does seem to prefer peace and quiet. Comes when called, especially when it’s time for breakfast/dinner. His favorite treats are freeze dried chicken hearts. He’s been groomed and is ready to look for his forever home 6yr. $50 Neutered, current on vaccinations, negative for all feline diseases. If you would like to meet Mr. Mosby please complete an application for adoption just copy and paste this link into your browser https://fs17.formsite.com/adoptionscc/form2/index ? ? ?Kittens, cats, and more kittens and cats … there used to be a “kitten season” but now it seems to be a year round crisis that is further perpetuated by human irresponsibility, shelter and rescue overcrowding and rising care costs in addition to compassion fatigue among those working together to place band aids on life threatening wounds. We as a rescue work with local vets and shelters to try triage the wounds of the feline community through TNR, community spay and neuter programs, adoption altering procedures and on medical and social cases that need more than average care. Our kittens and cats come from a variety of sources - random strays, abandoned litters, those left behind in moves, feral colonies, and owner deaths or circumstances that prohibit their ability to stay with their families. Our goal is to do our part to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome or release as well as contributing to the local shelters efforts to do the same. Our cats and kittens are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, have been tested and treated for internal and external parasites, have been started on a preventative program including age appropriate vaccines, and have or will be altered at any appropriate time. Our goal is to find the right addition to each family so please ask if you have specific questions regarding a particular cat or kitten and their personality.
TOBY
Baby • Male • Medium
Toby’s journey began on the streets, where he was found trying to survive on his own at just a few weeks old. Life hasn’t always been kind to him, but this brave little guy is slowly learning that not all humans are scary—and that the indoors can be a pretty amazing place. With each day, Toby is discovering the joys of soft blankets, gentle hands, and the comfort of safety. While he’s still a little cautious, his curiosity and playful kitten spirit are starting to shine through. A patient, loving home will help him continue to build his confidence and trust. Toby is looking for an indoor-only forever home where he can feel secure, loved, and never have to worry about surviving on his own again. If you believe in second chances, Toby might just be your perfect match. Neutered, negative for all feline diseases, current on vaccines and dewormed. If you are interested in meeting Toby please complete an application for adoption, copy and paste this link into your browser https://fs17.formsite.com/adoptionscc/form2/index Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable. Adoption fees vary based on age, needs and sponsoring.
Tia
Adult • Female • Medium
Tia is a remarkable and resilient kitty that needs a foster or forever home. She has captured the hearts of those who care for her at one of our feral feeding stations, and while she has a feisty and sassy nature, we think she has the potential to blossom with the right person. If you are unable to foster/adopt Tia, please share this post to help her find the loving home she deserves! Tia has likely spent most (if not all) of her life outdoors. This smart and spirited calico has a sweet, expressive face, and she’s a petite little spitfire who communicates through hisses, growls, and occasional meows. Once she knows you, she’ll approach with her tail straight up—a sign of trust. Though we are unsure of Tia’s exact age, we think she’s probably between 5-10 years old. Despite missing several teeth due to age, Tia seems otherwise healthy. She has received veterinary care and been spayed in the past, hence her tipped ear. If we can find a kind soul willing to care for her, she will have an updated exam prior to being transferred to her new home. Note that Tia will need a quiet, calm home without kids or other pets, and she’ll initially need a small space of her own to become acclimated. Patience will be key, and she’ll hide for a while, until she feels safe. Her foster/adopter should be experienced with cats, and some experience with semi-feral or feral cats would be ideal. Tia is located in the Columbus area. If you’re located in Ohio and think you might be a good match for Tia, submit an application via our website. Email us with any questions - [email protected].
Marmalade
Adult • Female • Medium
Marmalade was rescued while one of our volunteers was doing TNR in a rural area, and this friendly orange tabby girl is now seeking a forever home! If you aren’t able to adopt, please help by sharing her post! As you can see, Marmalade has the most beautiful, rich hue to her fur coat. While we aren’t certain of her exact age, she is still young (likely under 2 years old). She is very playful and talkative, and she loves to eat! She gets along well with the other kitties in her foster home, and her foster mom thinks she would also probably do well in a home with older children. Marmalade has been fully vetted - spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She tested negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia), and she tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). If you aren’t familiar with FIV, check out these links - https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv and https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/ If you’re located in Ohio, and you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Marmalade, submit an application via our website. Applicants can also request to foster-to-adopt (meaning a cat can be fostered on a trial basis before making a decision to adopt). Note that a verifiable vet history is required.
