We have a puppy that is right for you! Ebony Jane is the perfect mix of curious and sweet to make the most wonderful doggy. Ebony Jane was born on a beach in Punta Santiago, Puerto Rico. There were four puppies but someone took two leaving Ebony and her sister behind to fend for themselves. A friend of our rescue began feeding the two little girls and asked for us to bring them into rescue before they were hit by a car on the main road next to the beach. Ebony Jane is 8 months old and weighs 32 lbs presently. She loves to wander the yard and smell all the smells and will go belly up if given the chance for belly rubs for anyone that crosses her path. Her beautiful brindle coat is unmatched in beauty by any brindle we have ever seen. You need to see her to appreciate that beauty! Meet Olive Oil the chiweenie! Rescued from a backyard breeder in Puerto Rico, she is one of the lucky ones. Never to be tossed on the streets because she just wasn't good enough to be bred. Olive Oil has a smaller lower jaw then her upper which means her owner, more than likely, would have tossed her out on the streets. Luckily, we stepped in, and we cherish her for the lovely puppy she is. She is full of spunk and ready to play at all times! We will be removing a couple teeth on the bottom to make room for adult teeth growing in and she will be perfectly fine. She has no issues eating or living a normal life. Olive Oil is currently in Puerto Rico but can be flown anywhere in the United States once adopted. She will be ready to fly to her adopters any time after July 22. There was a dog who lived on the beach in Punta Santiago, Puerto Rico. She had many litters over the years but we were finally able to catch her and bring her to rescue. She was heavily pregnant and had 5 puppies. Mom is still working on enjoying the finer things in life but her puppies are ready to fly. There are four males and one female. Each puppy is a typical happy puppy who wants to romp and play and do puppy things. They were born in our care and ready for their families. They are 5 months old and weigh approximately ten lbs. we expect they will be under 25 fully grown. Mable is a female and one of the sweetest little girls. She is a favorite at the rescue. 10 years. Dariella was adopted to someone in Puerto Rico and she was tied to a fence. She spent ten years tied to that fence. A neighbor would come to feed her because the owner could not be bothered. 10 years in the hot sun with noone to love her. Well that has all changed.
