Meet Audre – a 6-year-old expert in lounging, napping, and being the softest little sidekick you’ve ever met. Audre came from a hoarding situation, but you’d never know it by how gracefully she’s embraced the quiet, cozy life. She’s timid at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll claim your lap like it’s prime real estate. She’s surprisingly quiet for a Chihuahua (we double-checked—she’s definitely part Chihuahua), and she’s not here for drama or high-energy shenanigans. She’s here to sit with you, look at you lovingly, and maybe nap by your side. She’s good with other dogs (especially the chill kind), but we’re not sure about cats yet. She doesn’t need much—just a cozy blanket, a comfy human, and maybe a few treats to sweeten the deal. If your idea of a perfect day involves watching your favorite show, snacks, and a lap full of love, Audre is your girl. ??? Audre is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Mack
Baby • Male • Medium
Meet Mack-a-roorooroooo! (Or Mack Daddy, Mack the Shark, Big Mack, Mack-a-ronie he answers to all of themeventually.) This stunning blue-eyed baby boy is around 6 months old and likely the result of a Husky-German Shepherd meet-cute (spay and neuter, people!!). He's got Husky charm, Shepherd smarts, and the ear game of a satellite dish trying to pick up NASA. Mack is the full puppy package: playful, cuddly, and eager to learnespecially if snacks are involved. He's already picking up commands (though sometimes he considers them strong suggestions) and is working hard on potty training. Crate time? No problem. He trots right in like a little gentleman and will even nap there like the goodest boy he is. He lives with humans of all sizes, a female doggy BFF, and some catswho he respects like a true gentleman. His favorite thing in the world? Everyone. He's a Velcro pup who loves hugs, forehead kisses, and being close to his people. And if there are kids around? Even better. He's head-over-paws for the toddler next door and is always trying to sneak in some smooches. Mack would thrive in a home that gives him plenty of playtime, walks, or another dog to romp withbut he's not a wild man. Underneath all the puppy wiggles, he's really just a lazy lovebug who wants to nap next to you and be told he's a good boy. (He is.) This goofy, snuggly, slightly stubborn sweetheart is ready to steal your heartand maybe your spot on the couch. Could Mack be your forever sidekick? https://www.midwestk9rescue.org/adoption/
Chandler
Young • Male • Medium
If interested, please contact the foster home. Petfinder Profiles doesn’t always work. Meet Chandler! Could this be The One Where Chandler Finds His Forever Home? ? This 2-year-old, 50 lb Australian Cattle Dog mix is looking for a forever home that will appreciate his big personality and even bigger heart. Chandler is the total package—handsome, smart, loyal, and just the right amount of goofy. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. Chandler is crate trained, doing great with house manners, and loves spending time with his people. He’s an affectionate goofball who bonds hard and would love an active home where he can be included in your daily routine. When it comes to other dogs, Chandler is a bit selective. He’d prefer to be your one and only or share his space with a calm, submissive pup who respects his boundaries but is also willing to wrestle around at times. Already have a dog at home? A meet-and-greet is required before adoption to make sure it's a good fit! Looking to double the fun? Chandler’s current bestie, Toby, is also available for adoption through ACDRA and being fostered by the same person. They get along famously, and while adopting them together would be amazing, it’s not required. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with personality to spare, Chandler might just be your guy. He is currently being fostered in Sunbury, Ohio. If you have questions you can contact his foster mom via e-mail at [email protected]. If you are interested in adopting Chandler, please submit an application here: www.acdra.org/adoption-application
Toby
Young • Male • Medium
If interested, please contact the foster home. Petfinder Profiles doesn’t always work, AVAILABLE Toby - M Sunbury, OH Meet Toby – Your Goofy Sidekick in the Making! Toby is a 10-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as his puppy paws! Weighing in at around 47 lbs (and still growing), this lovable goofball is equal parts cuddly baby and bouncy playmate. Toby is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines—ready to leap into his forever home! He has a silly, endearing personality and absolutely lives for playtime. Whether he's chasing toys, romping with dog friends, or entertaining himself with a good ol’ zoomie session, Toby brings joy wherever he goes. He gets along great with other dogs and kids, making him a fantastic family companion. Cats and small animals haven’t been officially tested, but we suspect Toby might be a bit too excited to play—he means well, but not every critter appreciates his enthusiasm. Crate training? He’s nailing it. House training? Coming along nicely—as long as he’s reminded to pause his playtime for a quick potty break. He's a smart boy and eager to please, especially if treats or squeaky toys are involved. Toby's signature move? The “flop and wiggle”—where he throws himself dramatically onto the floor for belly rubs and attention, then scoots around like a fuzzy mop. It's impossible not to laugh. If you're looking for a loyal, joyful, slightly ridiculous best friend to grow up with, Toby's your guy. Come meet him and get ready to fall in love! If you have questions about this goofy guy, you can contact his foster mom via e-mail at [email protected]. If you are interested in adopting Toby, please submit an application here: www.acdra.org/adoption-application
