Chase
Young • Male • Medium
Hi, I’m Chase—a two-year-old Lab mix with a sweet soul and an even sweeter face! With my gentle demeanor and laid-back charm, I’m the kind of pup who’s just as happy romping around with other dogs (yep, I live with puppy pals!) as I am curled up next to my favorite human on the couch. One look into these eyes, and you’ll know: I’m all about love, loyalty, and long snuggles. Whether you're looking for a solo sidekick or a new addition to your pack, I’m easygoing and adaptable. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, so if you’ve got a feline friend at home, I’ll be a respectful and mellow companion. I’d thrive in a home with or without other pets—as long as there’s love, I’m a happy guy. Just one note: I’m a curious explorer by nature, so a secure fence is a must to keep me safe and sound during backyard adventures. I’m also currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but don’t worry, it’s curable! Could I be the perfect, handsome addition to your family? CHASE IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, FaceTime, etc). Our adoption fee is $300 plus health certificate ($50) and transport (usually $200). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), spay/neuter, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport. Meet Coyote – A Wild Name for a Sweet Soul Don’t let the name fool you—Coyote is all heart and husky charm. This stunning 2-year-old Siberian Husky was found wandering the streets alone in Texas until a kind-hearted woman stepped in and brought him into the safety of foster care. Now he’s ready to leave his stray days behind and find a forever home to call his own. Coyote has the classic husky good looks—piercing eyes (one brown, one blue), a thick plush coat, and a face that turns heads. He’s still discovering what it means to be part of a loving home, but he’s already showing his gentle and curious side. This boy is the perfect blend of adventurous spirit and soft soul. He’d do great with a family that understands huskies and can offer him the love, activity, and structure he deserves. McGraw in OH - Sweet & Loves Attention!
Young • Male • Large
Isn't McGraw the most handsome boy with his one blue eye and one brown?! McGraw is a high-energy, silly and goofy adolescent boy with a soft and short coat of all black. He is full of curiosity and is screening applications for his furever family. McGraw is currently waiting for his upcoming surgery to correct a luxating patella (slipped kneecap), and will need a caring adopter to help him through his recovery process, which will include initial restrictions on activity, gradually increasing exercise, and potentially physical rehabilitation. The hope is that within a few months, he will return to his normal activities! McGraw has a few "requirements" for his furever people - they have to: (1) love and cherish him unconditionally, (2) have unlimited quota for hugs and kisses and cuddles, and (3) be his adventure buddy for all things fun and interesting. Now, McGraw also brings his A-game to the party - he is a lovely boy with great house manners, is an excellent sleeper, has zero interest in barking, and walks well on leash. While McGraw loves to run and play just like any other young pup, he is happy to chill and relax with you in the house as well. Going out to restaurants to meet new people is also a fun time, as more people equal more pets! - He pretends he’s shy for a second, but is less so as time goes on. That said, he’s immediate friends with all kids, approaching them straight away for lovings. If you like to take long strolls in the neighborhood or a relaxing hike in nature, McGraw would love nothing more than to be your adventure buddy and then come home for some cuddles. He’d also enjoy a 4’ fenced yard for some quality stick-chewing time, and another canine friend to play with would be awesome. He’s a big fan of going to the dog park to wrestle with his buddies and chase after some balls. If you feel you can meet his "requirements," we are pawsitive this happy boy will be your sidekick for years to come!
