This is a courtesy post for a lady (Rae) who is taking care of four outdoor cats that she's been feeding and providing winter shelter for since the Summer of 2020 shortly after they were TNR'd as kittens. Three of them (listed below) would make good indoor cats (Rae can pick them up and they try to get inside, etc). Rae will be moving across the country into an apartment this summer and wants to make sure they are cared for. Even asking for this help is difficult because she loves them very much and will miss them greatly. Rae will provide costs for vetting them, and any other costs related, (all got shots in 2020. The only one vetted since then is Binx who needed medical care and got vax updates at that time. Rae can provide all paperwork). All three cats are spayed/neutered and have had initial vaccines. Vet care will be updated prior to the cats going to new homes. The Cats (all black with a tipped ear): Binx: (Male) He is funny in that he goes through waves of being extremely friendly, being ok being held and will cuddle with Rae in the hammock, and then will get very skittish for a time. Every single day, he stands at the window begging to say hello to my indoor cats so Rae thinks he would be a good candidate to be adopted into a home with existing cats if he can’t stay with Mama and Jiji. Rae wants to get him inside ASAP due to his mosquito allergy (his ears scab over every summer from being bitten). Mama (Kiki): (Female) VERY friendly. Asks for attention, will sit with Rae. She was TNR'd while pregnant and adopted the others once she was released. She allows Rae to pick her up and hold her for hugs. She has hyperesthesia on her back, but loves head and neck scritches. She and Jiji are always together; splitting up those two is another reason Rae has had a hard time, because ideally they'd get to live together. Jiji: (Male) Also very friendly, will cry and follow you for attention. He allows Rae to pick him up momentarily. Bonded with Mama and likes saying hello to the indoor cats. If you would like to adopt one or more of the kitties, please email us at [email protected]. Vet care will be updated prior to the cats going to their new home.
