Evie
Baby • Female • Small
** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** This grey clad tuxedo girl is the sweet as can be, Evie. Evie's mom came to us VERY pregnant and gave birth to her babies in a foster home on 4/30/25, so she's 14 weeks old. Evie and her brothers Hans and Franz all still reside in their foster home, and their foster mom says that they are just the best babies ever. Evie is the most brave and inquisitive of the three siblings and she's always the first to get into new things. Evie loves nothing more than wrestling and climbing up a storm with her brothers and then cuddling up with them for a nice, long nap. Their favorite napping spots are the window perches in their foster home. They live with several large, resident kitties, and they get along great with all of them. These boujee babies have requested that their forever home have a window perch for them so that they may continue their hobby of bird watching and napping in the warm sunshine. They are also big climbers and have been climbing cat trees and towers since they were little, and have a blast on them. They have requested to have their very own cat trees in their forever homes too. They are also champion litter box users and cat scrather users! And when we say boujee, we mean it. These guys are well, a little spoiled, but with faces like theirs, it's hard to say no! Their foster mom says that they have great appetites when it comes to canned food, but that they will sometimes snub dry food. For now, their predominant diet is canned food with some dry mixed in, twice a day. They will likely eventually adapt to eating more dry food, but for now, they simply aren't fans. These littles have been around a lot of other cats since they were tiny and they will benefit GREATLY from being adopted together, in pairs or with another HSMC kitten. Kittens adopted in pairs do better long term, are happier and have less long term behavioral issues. Plus no one can play with a kitten the way another kitten can! Single kitten sydndrome is a real thing, and no one wants a kittenzilla in their home! Being so young, this cutie would do just fine in a home with other kitties or with cat-friendly dogs. Of course care must be taken to protect her small size. It's imperative to keep this little cutie from getting stepped on, injured by larger animals, or by small children who may be unintentionally rough with her. Would you like to meet the sweet as can be Evie, and hopefully a brother or other kitten as well? If so, please fill out an application and schedule a meet and greet once your application is approved! Remember that this sweet group resides in a foster home and is not at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled. West Jefferson, Ohio #hsmcohio Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. It includes: a microchip, spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card. Martini
Baby • Female • Small
** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** Say hello to the little darling known as Martini. This practically perfect little girl was brought to us through no fault of her own, but only after her previous owner was unable to care for her. Martini has an estimated birth date of 5/7/25, so she's just 13 weeks old. Martini is an absolute sweetheart and you will fall in love with her as much as we have. She is a total lovebug, and purrs up a storm when she gets love and attention. She's super playful and curious, and can't get enough play time. She loves soft, cozy cat beds, and has a ball with cat toys with feathers on them. She seems to get along just fine with other kitties that she's met, so she would likely do well in a home with other feline friends. Most kitties love having a feline companion, and we think that Martini is no exception. She lived in a home with a dog, so she's accustomed to being around them. The biggest thing to be sure of is that any dog that she cohabitates with is gentle and cat-friendly. With her sweet disposition, this little darling would be a wonderful friend for a child. Baby • Female • Small

You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** This tiny little lady is Summer. This precious little girl was found as a sick, stray kitten and brought to the shelter for help finding her wonderful forever home. Summer has an estimated birthdate of 4/23/25, so she's about 14 weeks old. Sweet Summer is a laid back girl who does a lot of observing of the other kittens. She thinks about things before just jumping in like the other kitties. She LOVES watching the other kitties play, and then when the time is right, she pounces right into the middle of the action. Summer is currently living in a foster home with other kittens and is having so much fun! This little cutie would LOVE to be adopted with another kitten. Small kittens do best in pairs and no one can play with a kitten the way another kitten can! Kittens raised in pairs are happier, more well adjusted and have less behavorial problems. Suzie
Young • Female • Medium
** In order to adopt an un-spayed kitty from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitty and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay surgery. You may need to bring the kitty back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay surgery** Say hello to the impossibly perfect Suzie. This cutie pie was brought to us through no fault of her own, but only after their previous owner's health declined and they were unable to take care of her. This sweet little gal has an estimated birthday of 7/19/24, so she's about 1 year young. In addition to being cute as can be, Suzie has the sweetest personality as well. She's inquisitive, very friendly and isn't bothered by much of anything. She's a pretty laid back little lady. She adores people, and can't get enough attention. She is a huge fan of soft, fuzzy blanets and she burritos herself in the blankets in her cage and then peeks out at us with her sweet little face. She also loves to climb the cat tree and gaze out the window at whatever action may be taking place outside. This lovely lady is an absolute gem and whoever adopts her will really hit the jackpot. She is truly a special girl. Suzie has met several other kitties since coming to us, and she isn't bothered by them, so she would likely do just fine in a home with other kitties. Tink
Young • Female • Medium
Meet Tink, the sweetest little girl that you'll ever meet! This darling and her kittens were being taken care of by a kind person until we had room for them at the shelter. Since coming to us, Tink and her crew of cuties have spent time in a foster home, but now this sweetheart is with us at the shelter and eager to find her loving forever home. Sweet Tink has an estimated birthdate of 4/23/24, so she's barely a year old. This young mom has poured her heart into caring for her little ones, showing endless love and devotion. Now, it's her turn to be spoiled! She absolutely adores human affection—gentle pets, cozy lap time, and, of course, those irresistible back scratches she asks for with her charming little meow. Tink is a total lovebug who prefers the company of people over anything else, but she also loves to romp and play with other kitties. She is one of the first sweet faces that you will see if you come visit Kitty Corner at the shelter. She loves following the staff and volunteers around the room, and then loves a good cuddle session on the couch! She enjoys the occasional playful chase with a toy, but her favorite pastime is soaking up all the affection she can get. Give her some delicious wet food, a warm spot to snuggle, and plenty of love, and she'll be your most devoted companion. Tink would do great in a home with other kitties and would likely do fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog. She loves kids and would be a wonderful and playful companion for the children in your life! Valentino
Adult • Male • Large
Have you been hoping to add an amazing house panther to your home? Well, your wait is over! This is the cool as can be, Valentino. This dapper guy was brought to us through no fault of his own, but sadly only after his owner died. Sweet Valentino has an estimated birthdate of 4/17/18, so he's about 7 years old. Valentino is as sweet as he is handsome. He understandably was very shy when he first came to us, but he has really let his guard down, and become a fast favorite of our staff and volunteers. Valentino loves to get attention from the staff and volunteers, and he doesn't even mind being picked up. If you want to be Valentino's best friend, the way to go about that is to give him a Churu tube or some canned food. Both of those things make him the happiest kitty around, and this wonderful guy deserves all the happiness that he can get! He really enjoys spending time looking out the window to see what's going on outside. He would probably love to have a nice cat tree in his forever home. Valentino is a laid back boy, with a sweet demeanor and he would be a wonderful addition to just about any home. He doesn't get upset by much of anything, and he is happy as can be, lounging in his comfy kitty bed, and soaking up as much love as he's offered. Valentino gets along just fine with other kitties, and came in with his sister, who has already been adopted. With this in mind, he would likely do fine in a home where there are other kitties, but with slow and proper introductions. This gorgeous guy would also do just fine as an only kitty in his forever home. We don't know how Valentino feels about dogs, but he would likely be fine with a respectful, cat friendly dog. This mellow fellow would do fine with children as well, especially children who would be willing to brush him and give him the cuddles that he craves. Would you like to meet the coolest house panther in town? If so, please complete an application and schedule a meet and greet. You will adore this sweet boy as much as we do! Ze
Adult • Male • Large
This round faced Romeo is the wonderful Ze. Sweet Ze was found as a stray kitty and brought to the shelter so that we can help him find his most deserving forever home. This large and in charge guy has an estimated birthdate of 6/25/19, so he's about 6 years old. Ze is an absolute sweetheart and the staff and volunteers have fallen in love with him. This cutie is such a charmer that one of the volunteers decided to bring him home to foster so that he wasn't stuck in a cage at the shelter. She said that he is a huge cuddlebug, and loves nothing more than to have his person lay with him and snuggle up. It's one his favorite things! His favorite thing in the world is food. This big boy LOVES to eat! He is so grateful for a full tummy and he loves getting canned food and Churu treats. He's a no fuss kind of guy, and he simply wants love and affection and plenty of food! His foster mom has noticed that he is a little apprehensive of men right now, but who knows what this sweet boy dealt with when he was a stray kitty. he is warming up to his foster dad, so it just may take a little time for him to warm up to a potential forever cat dad. He LOVES women and is a definite ladies man. He loves looking out the window at the birds and whatever else may be happening outside, and would likely love having his very own cat tree. He has a great cat tree in his foster home, and he spends lots of time in it, watching the wildlife outside. He's a playful boy who loves catnip too. He really is just the best boy around. Sweet Ze is FIV positive, but that's not nearly as scary as it sounds. Most kitties with FIV live long, happy, healthy lives and it's only spread through violent fighting and deep bite wounds or by being born with it. We certainly don't see this boy as a fighter, but definitely as a lover! He hasn't met any dogs since coming to us, but he would likely be fine with a calm, cat friendly dog. He has met other kitties and he doesn't seem the least bothered by them. He would likely do fine with other kitties in a home, but slow and proper introductions are a must. He would do great as an only kitty too. This orange boy simply wants to be loved and find his way into the wonderful forever home that he deserves. Would you like to meet this wonderful guy? If so please complete an application and schedule a meet and greet once your application is approved. Remember, that this Grade A Good Boy resides in a foster home, and isn't at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled! West Jefferson, Ohio #hsmcohio Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. LoMein -In Foster
Adult • Male • Medium
LoMein is his name and charming everyone he meets is his game! This wonderful boy was brought to us along with his siblings, through no fault of their own, but only after their owners lost their home, and were unable to care for them any longer. LoMein has an estimated birthdate of 11/25/23, so he's just a little over one year young! LoMein is an absolutely wonderful boy, who adores people and wants to spend as much time with them as possible. This lucky boy currently resides in a foster home, and he's soaking up as much move and attention as possible! His foster mom says that he is a super sweet boy, and that he loves to cuddle up next to her on the couch. LoMein is a chatty boy too, and is quite the conversationalist. He loves looking out the windows of his foster home, in hopes of seeing some birds, and he would love to have his very own cat tree! This sweet boy likes to be picked up and brushed too. In addition to being a total lovebug, LoMein also loves to play! His favorites are feather toys and kitty catnip kickers. This guy has so much personality and is just THE SWEETEST, most playful boy around. He gets along well with female kitties, but he has not been a big fan of other male cats, especially those that haven't been neutered yet. So yes, he's a bit "cat selective", but only with male cats. We think that he would be fine with a female kitty companion at home, or as an only kitty. He loves people, and can't get enough, and that way he could soak up all of the love and attention possible. He would likely do fine with dogs as well, but slow and proper introductions to any new furry friends is a must! LoMein comes from a home with children, but since he's kind of a high energy boy, he may do best with children who are a little older and not so "grabby" towards the cute and fuzzy kitty. Would you like to meet the sweetest tuxedo clad boy around? If so, please fill out an application, and once approved, schedule a meet and greet. Remember that this cool cat lives in a foster home, so a meet and greet must be scheduled!
