Since coming to us, this little lady has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. She is as sweet as they come, and she's always so appreciative of receiving lots of love and pets. This bright eyed beauty, is the sweetheart known as Carolina. Sweet Carolina and her litter of kittens were brought to us and placed into a foster home right away. Carolina has an estimated birthday of 7/01/23 so she is two years old. Carolina's kittens have all been adopted and now she's at the shelter waiting for her forever home! Her foster mom said that she is one of the sweetest kitties that she has ever fostered, and we have to agree! Carolina roams free in our cat room with six other kitties, and she gets along great with all of them. She plays up a storm with the kitties who are her age. She has an estimated birth date of 3/17/25 and has black medium length fur with a cute white bib. She and her siblings were living on the streets with her wild mom. A kind citizen knew that they needed to be relocated to where they could safely grow up and get to know people. Mystique wasn’t sure about people at first, as Mom had taught them that people are pretty scary, but she is slowly coming around. While she is still hesitant when hands start coming at her, she has learned that hands are very nice for getting her ears rubbed and chin scritched. Because she is still learning about people, she would probably do best in a home with no small children. She is currently being fostered in a home with other cats and 2 large dogs and is getting used to being around the dogs. Of course care must be taken to protect their tiny size.
