Meet Sol! This girl is very near and dear to our hearts. Sol was dumped with her sister, Luna, in late 2022. We trapped Luna not long after she was dumped and she has been happily adopted! After almost two years we were finally able to trap Sol, who had delivered a litter of puppies under a building. All of Sols puppies have been adopted to wonderful families. Sol is now fully-vetted and has adapted nicely to being a spoiled house dog! Sol gets along great with other dogs and is gentle with children. She has lived with cats and her relationship with them varies depending on the cat. Sol is timid in new situations and is not confident on a leash. She does go outside to potty and will require a fenced yard. Due to her history, it can take time for Sol to warm up to new people and places. Sol is mostly not an affectionate dog although she will gladly roll over for tummy rubs when shes laying next to you in bed. Despite her large size, Sol plays great with smaller dogs and has lived with several dogs under 20 pounds. She shares her food and water dish with other pets in the home and sometimes sleeps with two medium/large dogs in an open crate. Sol will give a deep bark and back away when startled. She hasnt shown any aggression towards adults or children, even when scared.

Lily is a gorgeous golden doodle that would love to be adopted with her brother Ace. They were adopted and kept in crates for way too many hours. Fortunately the family chose surrender. This beautiful girl is Cocoa. Cocoa is 4 yrs old and has a pure velvet coat. She is very smart and PERFECTLY house trained. She has not had any accidents, has no desire to get on furniture, she is curious, but not at all destructive. She is also a very gentle dog that loves her toys, but does not destroy them. She can sit and give you her paw like a champ. Cocoa would love an active family that would take her for car rides, hikes and runs. She is an athletic girl that excels at ZOOMIES and TWIRLS. Tragedy has struck one of our adopter families, leaving this deeply bonded mother-daughter pair urgently in need of a new home. In January 2022, sweet Daisy came to us and delivered a litter of puppies in our care. She and one of her babies, Izzy, were adopted togetherand theyve been inseparable ever since. Izzy has always been a mamas girl. This week, their world was turned upside down. The woman who gave them a loving home was tragically killed in a car accident. Her family cant keep the dogs and has asked us to take them back. Now Daisy and Izzy need someone to give them a second chancetogether, if at all possible. Friendly Fifi has yet to find a dog she doesnt get along with! She loves playing with other dogs and squeaking her toys. Shes good on a leash and greets everyone with happy tail wags. Meet June Bug the little fighter with a crooked smile and a heart full of love. June Bugs journey is nothing short of incredible. She was rescued alongside her companion Benny from a heartbreaking case of neglect and abuse. When Good Samaritans found her, she was too weak to lift her head. Weighing only 20 pounds, she had painful pressure sores on her cheeks, hips, shoulders, and knees where bones pressed through her skin. She couldn't even shift positions. Rushed to a veterinary clinic, June Bug immediately stole hearts. Despite her condition, her tail wagged and her sweet, crooked smile greeted everyone. The clinic staff wrapped her in warm sweaters and showered her with love and she soaked it all in. After two weeks of care, June Bug was strong enough to move to a foster home with Benny. And today? Shes a stunning 45-pound beauty with a smooth, shiny coat and a whole new outlook on life!
