Chase
Young • Male • Medium
Hi, I’m Chase—a two-year-old Lab mix with a sweet soul and an even sweeter face! With my gentle demeanor and laid-back charm, I’m the kind of pup who’s just as happy romping around with other dogs (yep, I live with puppy pals!) as I am curled up next to my favorite human on the couch. One look into these eyes, and you’ll know: I’m all about love, loyalty, and long snuggles. Whether you're looking for a solo sidekick or a new addition to your pack, I’m easygoing and adaptable. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, so if you’ve got a feline friend at home, I’ll be a respectful and mellow companion. I’d thrive in a home with or without other pets—as long as there’s love, I’m a happy guy. Just one note: I’m a curious explorer by nature, so a secure fence is a must to keep me safe and sound during backyard adventures. I’m also currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but don’t worry, it’s curable! Could I be the perfect, handsome addition to your family? Rooster
Young • Male • Medium
Meet Rooster – Your Loyal Adventure Buddy Rescued during a heavy rainstorm in a notorious dog-dumping area, Rooster has already weathered more than most dogs his age. But despite his rough start, this young pup is full of life, love, and loyalty — just waiting for the right person to share it with. Rooster is a handsome, spirited dog with a heart as big as the outdoors he loves so much. He's happiest when he’s outside — whether it's exploring trails, trotting alongside you on a hike, or just soaking up the fresh air. He thrives in nature and would love a home where he can spend plenty of time roaming, sniffing, and stretching his legs. This boy is a protector by nature, with a strong instinct to keep his people safe. He’s looking for a confident, strong person — someone who can be his steady guide and best friend. With the right person, Rooster will bond deeply and be your loyal shadow, always ready for the next adventure or car ride (he loves hopping in for a drive!). Rooster gets along great with other dogs and loves to play, but he’s also perfectly content being the only pup in your life. He walks well on a leash, is eager to please, and has a fun-loving, playful side once he knows he’s safe. Rooster is looking for more than a home — he’s looking for a purpose, a partner, and a place to belong. If you’re someone who enjoys the outdoors, values loyalty, and is ready to give a brave, loving dog the life he deserves, Rooster just might be your perfect match. Come meet Rooster — your next great companion is waiting. Rooster is currently living in Houston, Texas with his foster family, but is available for transport to many locations across the country! Transport fee is included in the adoption fee.
Roscoe
Young • Male • Medium
Meet Roscoe – Professional Snuggler, Rice Field Escapee, and Certified Good Boy™ If Disney made a movie about a dog who heroically survived a flooded rice field, came out skinny and scruffy but full of heart, and then blossomed into the sweetest, most lovable houseguest on the planet… well, that would be Roscoe’s life story. This one-year-old Labrador mix (give or take a few mystery breeds—we’re not ruling out part marshmallow) was rescued by one of our amazing fosters after being abandoned and left to fend for himself. But Roscoe is a survivor with style. Now fully flea-free, well-fed, and looking handsome as ever, he’s ready for his real fairy tale ending. Roscoe is sweet, gentle, and so well-behaved you’ll start wondering if he’s been secretly binge-watching obedience training videos. He’s potty trained, calm in the house, and adores kids and other dogs. Honestly, if Roscoe were a human, he’d be the guy helping your grandma carry groceries, volunteering at the animal shelter, and still managing to show up with snacks. Yes, Roscoe did test heartworm positive due to his rough start, but don’t worry—he’s completed treatment like a champ and is now living his best, healthy life. He’s up to date on everything (vaccines, microchip, neutered, and rocking his monthly preventatives like the responsible adult he is). This lovebug is looking for a calm, kind family and wouldn’t mind a dog buddy to share toys and gossip with. But mostly, he just wants to follow you from room to room, give kisses, and finally be someone’s forever dog. Roscoe is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada. Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test, transport and vet/documentation requirements in preparation for transport. Cobalt
Young • Male • Medium
He is still young at heart -just a teenager- and working on being on a leash, under socialized but affectionate and trusting of people. He is fearful of smaller kids - best in a home with teenagers or just adults. Sometimes he barks when he first meets people, which scares them, but he wants affection. He loves to be outside, he will bark at birds and clouds. Crate trained and fostered with other dogs, he thrives with other dogs to follow. This petite blue dude appears to be a blue Doberman - DNA tests say he is majority Dobie with some German Shepherd and American Pit Bull. His vocal nature likely comes from this mix of breeds. Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. Last Weighted in at 56 lbs and a guessed Birthdate of 05-15-2023 (2 years old) FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Coyote
Young • Male • Medium
Meet Coyote – A Wild Name for a Sweet Soul Don’t let the name fool you—Coyote is all heart and husky charm. This stunning 2-year-old Siberian Husky was found wandering the streets alone in Texas until a kind-hearted woman stepped in and brought him into the safety of foster care. Now he’s ready to leave his stray days behind and find a forever home to call his own. Coyote has the classic husky good looks—piercing eyes (one brown, one blue), a thick plush coat, and a face that turns heads. He’s still discovering what it means to be part of a loving home, but he’s already showing his gentle and curious side. This boy is the perfect blend of adventurous spirit and soft soul. He’d do great with a family that understands huskies and can offer him the love, activity, and structure he deserves. Coyote is ready for someone who will see beyond his rough start and give him the stable, loving life every pup deserves. Could that be you? Alex
Young • Male • Medium
Meet Alex. Alex, along with two of his siblings were found wandering in a field in the North-east area of Houston. We were thankfully notified about this beautiful boy when he ended up on the euthanasia list due to being so kennel stressed at the shelter. Here is a bit of what we know about Alex: *Miniature Husky mix (possibly Alaskan Klee Kai mix) *Currently weighs about 25 lbs *Male - neutered *Up to date on his vaccinations *Heartworm negative *Dog friendly *Cat friendly *Rides well in a car *Walks well on a leash *House trained The husky breed is considered curious, agile, aloof, and intelligent. They do require daily activity, socialization and consistent training. Here is some pros and cons about the breed. Pros: Intelligence and Trainability: Highly intelligent and can learn new tricks and commands relatively quickly. Loyalty and Companionship: They are known to be loyal and form strong bonds with their families. Adaptability: While energetic, they can adapt to apartment living if their exercise needs are met. Unique Appearance: Striking appearance in a smaller package makes them visually appealing. Alertness: They are naturally alert and can make good watchdogs. Cons: Stubbornness: They can be stubborn and require patient and consistent training. High Prey Drive: They have a strong prey drive and may chase small animals, requiring careful management, especially in urban environments. Potential for Separation Anxiety: May be prone to separation anxiety, which may require specific training and management. High Energy Levels: They need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to prevent destructive behaviors. Shedding: They shed, especially during twice-yearly coat blowing, requiring regular grooming. Alex is currently in a foster home (in Houston) along with two other heelers as well as three cats. As you can see from his video and pictures, Alex is happy and healthy and gets along wonderfully with the other fur-babies and children in the home. He has bonded quickly with his foster family and enjoys cuddling up to watch a good movie on the couch or bed with them. Alex will do best in a home that will provide him with both mental and physical exercise on a daily basis. If you love the "husky" breed and are looking for a smaller size companion who is loving, loyal, intelligent and active, look no further than our Alex. *We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, however please check your junk/spam email file as some of our responses get placed in these locations. *If you would like to complete our online application, please see below link: https://form.jotform.com/221444730332143 *If you are seeing this listing, Alex is currently available and we are accepting applications for him. **ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES TRANSPORT**
Lancôme
Young • Male • Medium
Lancôme is the only boy of the littler, he’s definitely the sweetest. He’s quick to calm down, lay in your lap and cuddle or get belly rubs. He’s definitely not as high energy as his sisters but he will play with them when he’s in the mood, he loves being able to lay around with chew toys on his own. He is fostered with a lot of dogs and doesn't mind the noise. He is also around farm animals; cats, goats, livestock dogs and has seen cattle/horses. He is crate trained, housetrained. He can be shy in new places and on a leash, so basic obedience/puppy school would help him build confidence in a new home. The litter appears to be mutts who will not get bigger than 40 lbs, he is currently 35 lbs. He has a black coat with tan markings and white chest. Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped, on prevention - he is ready to travel to spend his first birthday with his forever family. Birthdate is estimated to be June 2024. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Rescue worked with Manvel Lakes Animal Hospital for treatment plan and secured a foster home. We did not know the breed mix of the litter, they all have long legs, short coats with long tails and floppy ears. A sibling has been adopted, and her DNA test was shared with us; American Bully, Supermutt, Boerhoel, Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd.
