Blaze
Adult • Male • Medium
Blaze Male Age: 1 Weight: 45 lbs Breed: Lab Mix Hi there! I'm Blaze your future adventure buddy and fetch fanatic! I'm a happy, high-energy guy who's always up for some fun. Whether it's a hike, a game of fetch, or just a good old zoom around the yard, I'm your go-to pal for outdoor adventures. I was found as a stray, so a fenced-in yard would be ideal for me to safely burn off some of my energy (and keep my fetch game strong!). I get along great with other dogs and love kids too! I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I feel about those furry mysteries. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and working hard on my leash manners still trying to figure out that whole not pulling thing. I've got quite the bark, so an apartment with shared walls probably isn't the best fit for me. When it comes to training, I'm picking things up quickly I already know sit, crate, and leave it, and I'm eager to learn more (especially if treats are involved I love treats!). I enjoy pets and snuggling with my people on the couch, but I am also content with relaxing on the floor and playing with a chew toy. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, slightly silly best friend to keep you moving and laughing, I just might be your guy. Let's go on some adventures together! If you are interested in meeting Blaze, apply to adopt him at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.
Basil
Senior • Male • Medium
Basil Male Age: 11.5 years Weight: 60 lbs Breed: English Bulldog/Beagle Mix Trial Adoption Eligible Hey there, I'm Basil. I am a happy and loving guy who would do best in a home without other dogs or kids. I really don't have much interest in cats, so a home with cats would be just fine. I am crate trained, but don't need to be in a crate when you are gone. I am house trained, but I do wear a wrap inside since I am a senior gentleman. I do well on a leash too (I do pull some with excitement, but my harness helps Immensely). I love to wander around the backyard, travel with my human, take naps with my human or just nap by myself on a comfy bed or sofa. My foster mom says I am soulful and loving and I just want to be your best friend. I would love to be with you as much as possible. I also love a good bone, all the treats and a stuffed Kong. I am also on renal support prescription dogfood that will need to continue in my new home and I have a heart murmur that will need monitored yearly (and is common for my breed), but neither of these slow me down. I can't wait to find my own forever family who will show me all the love and attention I deserve. To help me find the perfect match, I'm eligible for Cause for Canines' Trial Adoption Program! This gives approved adopters a chance to get to know me in their home before making things official. You must be an approved adopter to participate. If you are interested in meeting Basil apply at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $195 Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. No Children.
Daisy
Adult • Female • Large
Name: Daisy Gender: Female Age: 3 years Age Range: Adult (1 year or older) Weight: 50 lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (2550 lbs) Breed: Pure Bred Best Friend Energy Level: Medium-High Dog Friendly: Unknown Cat Friendly: Unknown Kids: Unknown Apartment Friendly: Yes Fence Requirements: Unknown Crate Trained: No, but working on it Potty Trained: Not fully potty trained, working on it Ideal Home / Adopter: She's a loyal companion who thrives when she's with her people and loves to be part of the action. A home where she can be with the family most of the time would be ideal. When you're around, she's calm, relaxed, and happy to just hang out. She's still learning how to feel comfortable when left alone, especially in a crate, so she'll do best with someone who can be patient and continue her training. The good news? She's well-behaved and doesn't get into things when her people are homeshe just needs a little support to build confidence when they're not. Likes:Likes pets and belly rubs, chasing squirrels, and being around her people. Dislikes:. Being left alone is tough for her, and she may whine or cry until you return. Because she isn't especially food motivated, training requires a bit more creativity and patience Daisy is overall a great dogfriendly, sweet, and loyal. She's super friendly and has warmed up quickly to everyone I've introduced her to. She's also super sweet and loves pets and belly rubs. While we haven't introduced her to any kids or other animals, based on her temperament, her foster mom thinks she would do well with both. She has not barked a single time and doesn't seem to have an aggressive bone in her body. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current.
