Monica
Young • Female • Medium
MONICA DOB: Approximately 09/22/2024 Female, 7.5 lbs. Tiny Monica was just a kitten that was left behind when her owners moved away and left her alone to take care of herself. She was scared, didn’t know how to take care of herself, looking for food and a safe place to live. And because her owners didn’t even care enough to have her spayed before they left her on her own, little Monica found herself pregnant when she was just 7-8 months old. She had nowhere to go and no one to help her. She found a space beneath a loading dock at a warehouse and made a little bed for herself in the newspapers that were there. She was scared. And on June 6, 2025, while curled up alone in the little space under the loading dock entrance, little Monica gave birth to 6 little kittens. When the trucks came rolling in to unload, Monica was scared and she jumped out of her little cave under the loading dock and ran as fast as she could. When the employees of the company came out after hearing about the little cat that ran out of the space beneath the loading dock, they found Monica’s babies. They left them outside hoping that Monica would come back but she was too scared of all of the trucks coming and going and the noise. PetPromise same to the rescue of the kittens and set traps that evening in the hopes of catching Monica so she could be reunited with her babies. Within an hour of the warehouse closing, Monica was in the trap. When we took her in, she was as sweet as could be. She stood up on her hind legs to get pets, she rubbed on our legs thanking us for saving her. She was the sweetest girl. So now, this lovable girl, just a kitten herself, has been caring for her five babies (Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey. She is so gentle and sweet with her babies and loves people. We have hope that she will be “chosen” because this little girl is going to be the perfect little girl for someone. ----- If you are interested in learning more about this sweet kitty, please complete an online adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/251950332045046 We do not have a shelter or sanctuary. Chloe
Young • Female • Medium
CHLOE Female, 9 lbs. Chloe is a very precious and friendly little kitten that had kittens herself when she was only about 7 months old! Chloe was dumped near a meat packing plant on Greenlawn Avenue. She was being fed by some of the employees there when she surprised them with a little litter of kittens. She was just a baby herself but was the sweetest girl. She brought the kittens to the employees that had been feeding her…and the employees called PetPromise and asked us to help. When we arrived to help we learned that three of the employees had taken three of the kittens home. One kitten (Calvin) was left behind with Chloe and she was so sad. She laid by the door to the office hoping her other babies would be returned. After a lot of detective work and a lot of dead ends, we took Chloe and Calvin into the PetPromise program. Chloe has been so happy to be back inside (she is clearly a little house girl and did not like to be outside one bit). She stands up on her hind legs to reach out to help you reach her head to pet her. She loves her little kitten Calvin and has helped us take care of two neonate motherless kittens (Arlo and Alfie) that she treats like her own. Chloe is the perfect cat. She loves everyone, doesn’t do a single thing wrong. She has shown some aggression toward other cats in the foster home but this is a normal reaction for a mother cat that is protective of her kittens. Chloe is going to be an amazing addition to any family….if you love her she will return that love 100X over. --- If you are interested in learning more about this sweet kitty, please complete an online adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/251950332045046 We do not have a shelter or sanctuary. LILY
Young • Female • Medium
LILY DOB: Approximately 09/20/2024 Female, 7 lbs. Little Lily is a sweet and gentle soul. She was left behind at an apartment complex on the Eastside of Columbus when she was just a kitten. She was scared and hungry and just trying to stay alive on her own. It was winter and no one knows where she stayed or how she survived on her own. A neighbor fed her when she saw and petted her and held her but thought that she “belonged to someone” at the apartment complex. She had to hide to avoid being attacked by dogs or wildlife and find food to stay alive…and she was just a little thing. By the time spring came along the kitten (now 6 months old was pregnant.) She was scared and didn’t know what to do. When the time came she crawled into a dilapidated shed near the apartments and had 5 beautiful little beans. She was just a baby herself but she loved her beans (Finn, Melon, Piper, Benny & Speck) dearly. When they were just a few weeks old she led the neighbor who had been feeding her to the shed (the only person she trusted) and the neighbor knew then that she didn’t belong to anyone. She called us and when we found a foster family willing to take this little family, we scooped them all up and brought them “home.” Today, sweet Lily is a gentle sweet soul. She still takes a bit to warm up…her life has been pretty rough for a kitten forced to grow up when she was still a baby. She is very sweet and she is learning to know that she doesn’t have to be afraid. She needs a person that will love her sweet gentle self and let her be a happy kitten for once….and finally be someone’s baby that won’t leave her behind. ---- If you are interested in learning more about this sweet kitty, please complete an online adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/251950332045046 We do not have a shelter or sanctuary.
