I was found in a rural area in Florida with 2 other dogs. I was picked up by animal control and taken to their shelter. It was learned that I am heartworm positive during my medical in processing. I will need to be FOSTRED to ADOPT in South Mississippi until my heartworm treatment is completed. I have never had a lot of individual attention until I arrived at my current rescue who saved me from being euthanized in Florida. I am sweet and calm. I am described as a gentle giant. I am learning about toys and treats and life in a home as it is unknown how long I was a homeless dog. I have really started coming out of my shell. I am CRATE TRAINED. Beau was found by a good Samaritan on June 17, 2025, who took him in and has cared for him until he can be adopted into his forever home.
