Princess Leia
Adult • Female • Medium
Meet Princess Leia – Queen of Cuddles & Commander of Zoomies! Calling all active adventurers! Princess Leia is here to steal your heart (and maybe your tennis balls). This 3-year-old, 55lb Pittie mix is a shining star full of joy, love, and enthusiasm for life. With her adorable smile and wiggle-butt energy, it’s hard to believe this sweet girl was once on the euthanasia list—for being too happy and too energetic. (We know, we can’t believe it either.) Thankfully, Leia was rescued just in time, and she’s now looking for a forever home that embraces her zest for life! The Basics:    •   Spayed female    •   Up to date on vaccines    •   Heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives    •   House trained and crate trained    •   Knows commands: sit, come, stay, off, heel    •   Treat-motivated and eager to please    •   Born 11/14/2021 Personality Plus: Leia is all about fun, adventure, and love. She lives for car rides, squeaky toys, and playtime with her favorite humans. She’s a quick learner who responds well to structure and affection—just ask her to sit, and she’ll be on her best behavior in no time. Energy Level: High-energy and full of bounce, Leia would thrive with someone who enjoys hiking, running, long walks, or even agility training. She also loves to chew (puppy style!), so her humans should provide her with the good stuff—Kongs, bully sticks, and safe chew toys. Dog-Friendly: Leia is great with medium and large dogs and enjoys a playmate who can match her energy. She’s friendly with small dogs and cats but may be a bit much for them unless they’re sturdy and confident. Ideal Home: Leia is not an apartment pup—she needs a fenced yard where she can run and play. Her dream home includes:    •   A confident, experienced dog owner who sets boundaries with love    •   An active lifestyle    •   Older kids (due to her bouncy enthusiasm)    •   A doggie sibling (optional but awesome!) who enjoys playtime as much as she does Why Leia? Because she’s loyal, goofy, and just bursting with love. Leia’s journey may have started with heartbreak, but she hasn’t let that dim her spirit. She’s ready to be your ride-or-die, your hiking partner, your couch cuddle buddy after a long day. Are you ready to welcome a loving, lively girl who will make every day brighter (and maybe a little bouncier)? Princess Leia is ready to be your forever sidekick. Princess Leia is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada. Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test, transport and vet/documentation requirements in preparation for transport. Betsy
Adult • Female • Medium
Betsy is a FUN dog who loves to be with other dogs, maternal and bouncy. She is not aggressive or bossy but does have a bark and her terrier DNA comes out when meeting new smaller dogs. She has spent most of her time with bigger dogs and enjoys being the 'shortie' of the playgroup. Betsy is not food motivated, nibbles through the day, but has managed to become a bit fluffy. 50 lb dog now, she loves car rides, water! and sunbathing. Betsy is spayed, up to date on vaccines and very health - a bit fluffy as she has matured, now 4 years old. Her breed had been a guess until now! a donated DNA test revealed the classic Houston mutt mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Lab, Boxer, German Shepherd, Shar Pei, Chow Chow. She is a short dog with medium double coat and a sharp mind. YouTube Video (meet Betsy): https://youtu.be/pGvcZikCFFc FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! [email protected] --------------------------------------------------- Visit our Social Media to see more of our dogs! https://www.facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX History: Betsy came to another rescue with nursing puppies in June of 2023. She has been fostered with kids, other dogs and in a house/apartment. She is crate trained and loves routine - literally bounces up and down, runs outside then back into her crate to nap. She would benefit from a yard due to her energy.
Vanilla
Adult • Female • Medium
Meet VANILLA — Your Sweet & Spunky Boxer Babe! Looking for a loyal companion with just the right blend of sass and sweetness? Meet Vanilla — a 45lb bundle of joy and wiggles! Born on November 21, 2022, this 1.5-year-old spayed female Boxer mix is ready to find her forever adventure crew. Vanilla is house trained and crate trained, and she’ll happily snooze in her crate at night (just no bedding, please — this girl has a taste for fluff and likes to snack on her blankets when unsupervised!). She’s food motivated (but not food aggressive), making her a dream to train — and she’s already hard at work learning her basics like sit, stay, come, heel, off, and how to take treats nicely. She loves to play in the yard and splash in the kiddie pool (solo or with a male buddy), and she’ll keep you entertained with zoomies and silly antics. But like many clever pups, if she gets bored… she may dig a little. A fenced yard is a must for this active girl — apartment living just isn’t her jam. Vanilla is dog-friendly with male dogs, but she’s not a fan of other females — she’s definitely the kind of gal who likes to be the Queen Bee. And no cats, please — she thinks they’re for chasing, not befriending. She rides well in the car, enjoys long walks, and would make a fun hiking partner (just not in the summer heat). While she’s not off-leash trained, she’s got a great start with her commands and would thrive with continued guidance and consistency. - Crate & potty trained - Dog-friendly with males (no females or cats) - Microchipped, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines - Heartworm negative & on monthly preventatives - Fun-loving, affectionate, and a total goofball Vanilla’s got that classic Boxer charm — expressive eyes, the cutest little underbite, and a personality that’s equal parts athletic and affectionate. She adores ear rubs and butt scratches, and just wants to be a part of your daily life and adventures. Her perfect home? A family, couple, or active single person (with older kids) who’ll give her the structure, exercise, and love she craves — and maybe a goofy male dog to chase around the yard! Ready to bring a little Vanilla into your life? ? She’s waiting to melt your heart! Vanilla is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada. Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test, transport & vet documentation required in preparation for transport. Sage Cowan
Adult • Female • Medium
Sage Cowan is clearly a shepherd mix but based on her ice blue eyes and energy, we are guessing mixed with husky. Sage is constantly smelling or moving, exploring or swimming. Yes! She loves water and finds all ponds, puddles and ditches near her foster home. Sage is attentive to people, does well on leash and does listen for commands. During her off-leash yard play - she runs and enjoys playing 'keep away' from humans. She is athletic and healthy. Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped, treated for heartworms and on prevention - she is ready to travel. Sage would benefit from an active home or large yard/farm/ranch for daily exercise. Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/rHcLMYMjd-g FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email with Questions or for Adoption Application - [email protected] Adoption Application LINK: https://forms.gle/33ciYyXPTL18FfnV6 --------------------------------------------------- See more Photos, Videos and Updates on Social Media Facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX Instagram @CaffeinatedCanineRescue --------------------------------------------------- HERstory: She was found injured (glass cuts on her paw) after Hurricane Beryl hit Houston. She was soaking wet and wandered into a gun shop looking for people. She was microchipped but the owners stated they did not want her anymore. We had her seen at our vet for injures. She would also need to be treated for heartworms, though just two years old - obviously not kept on preventatives. Sage spent a few weeks in boarding due to the storm damage in our area and lack of foster homes. She did well with the routine at boarding, bouncing around her kennel until it was her turn for a walk and yard time.
