Meet Gypsy!! This senior lady found herself on the euthanasia list at our local Houston shelter. She tugged our heartstrings that at 7yrs old someone decided they no longer wanted her and did not care if she would be euthanized. This meant we were determined to find her a home that shows her what true love is. Gypsy is a senior gal looking for someone to take her on walks then come back home to hang out for the rest of the day. Her high energy days have dwindled down but she still loves to explore and play! In her current foster home she is becoming a grouchy girl who is deciding who she wants to be friends with. She would do best in a home where she is the center of attention or an experienced handler. She is ready to be someones entire world and retire in your home. She is a young 7yrs of age and about 77pounds - but they best part is she is crate trained and house trained. Carrie is FULL of charisma ! She enjoys LIFE and makes new friends effortlessly. She came to us from a rural shelter in south Texas and has been a happy girl since day one. She was labeled a Doberman mix, but we suspect from her double coat and personality to be more of a shepherd mix.
