Vega
Adult • Male • Large
Hi there, I'm Vega, a 6-year-old, 70 pound, brindle and white boxer. I'm looking for a forever home with someone who can keep up with me and love me unconditionally. I'm an extremely loving, smart and adventurous boy, who enjoys playing, running, and exploring. I'm also very smart and eager to please, especially if you have some treats for me. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm ready to go whenever you are. I have a ton of drive which makes me super fun to work with and my foster mom says I’d be amazing at dog sports of any kind because of how much I like to work. My foster mom can explain more but I need a firm owner who will work me and take me on adventures because I am no couch potato. I am dog selective needing slow intros to other dogs. I should not be around cats or other small animals because of my high prey drive. I do well with kids but best with older kids because of my size and energy. I can be crate reactive and have some barrier frustration, but I’ve been learning to improve my behavior here and am doing so much better. I also need more work on leash training, as I pull hard. Devices like gentle leaders may help me learn how to walk better on leash. I have a lot of love to give. I'm very passionate and loyal to anyone I bond with. I bond quickly and can’t wait to make friends with you! I love being petted and cuddled. I'm a relatively quiet pup, and I calm well when my exercise needs are met. I'm being fostered in Hampton Roads, VA but I can be transported out of state if you're the one for me. So, what do you say? Are you ready to meet your new best friend? I'm waiting for you. Fill out an application today and we will get the process started! *Must be 21 or older to apply.

Teddy
Adult • Male • Medium
Meet Teddy! A golden-and-black German Shepherd/Collie mix from Hamilton, OH, who is five and a half years old and the very definition of a gentle soul wrapped in 50 pounds of pure affection. With his easygoing nature and heart-melting devotion, Teddy is the ultimate cuddle companion, especially for those who dream of a calm, loyal friend by their side! Teddy carries the mellow vibe of a senior pup, preferring couch snuggles over wild romps. His absolute favorite activity? Curling up next to you during a movie marathon, content to soak up all the love you’re willing to give! Food and treats are no match for Teddy’s craving for human attention — he’ll happily follow you around the house, ready to offer his paw or gaze up at you adoringly for a few gentle pets. Teddy knows his manners too! With commands like “sit,” “down,” “off,” “by me,” and “watch me,” he’s an eager student who thrives on routine and gentle guidance. While he’s friendly with cats (mostly offering polite sniffs), he tends to be selective with other dogs. However Mona, his dog buddy, has helped him blossom into the loving and trusting pup he is today! Because of his sensitive past, Teddy can be anxious around new people and unfamiliar places, especially with sudden movements. But once he settles in and learns the rhythm of his new home, his sweet, affectionate nature shines through. Teddy does well being left alone for short periods, usually snoozing peacefully on the couch until you return. Teddy’s ideal family is one that can offer him a calm, caring environment with a predictable routine — and perhaps a cozy corner on the couch just for him. With up-to-date vaccinations, a microchip, and a heart full of love, Teddy is ready to bring warmth, loyalty, and endless snuggles into your life! Could you be the caring guardian Teddy needs to start his next chapter of comfort and companionship? If you're interested in providing Teddy with a loving home, please email [email protected] for more information on adopting him! Please note that Teddy will remain with his current family until a suitable new home is found for him.
Milo
Adult • Male • Medium
Meet Milo! A lively three-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/German Shepherd mix currently living in Hudsonville, MI, whose sparkly brown coat with charming white accents is just the beginning of his irresistible appeal. With a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging, Milo is the perfect blend of athletic energy and soulful snuggles! Milo is a 50-pound bundle of loyalty who has completed formal training with Off-Leash Training and responds like a champ to commands like "come," "sit," "heel," "place," and "off." He thrives with structure and positivity and is crate trained, house-trained, and well-mannered both indoors and out. Whether you’re heading out for a run or settling in for a cozy cuddle on the couch, Milo is all in—and then some! Milo is friendly and playful with other dogs, and he thrives in an environment where he can socialize and stretch his legs. A home with a securely fenced yard is important for his energy and happiness. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, happily becoming your shadow during the day and your cuddle buddy at night! However, Milo is not compatible with children. He has shown aggression toward them in the past, so he needs an adult-only home with experienced and attentive caregivers who can provide a calm and consistent environment. He’s not a fan of car rides and gets a bit unsure around stairs, but with patience and gentle encouragement, he’s learning to build confidence in these areas. His loyalty runs deep, and his love is genuine. Milo adores attention, thrives on human companionship, and is always eager for his next adventure with someone who understands his needs and celebrates his unique personality. Milo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to bring joy, loyalty, and a whole lot of heart to the right home. If you're interested in providing Milo with a loving home, please email [email protected] for more information on adopting him! Please note that Milo will remain with his current family until a suitable new home is found for him. Also, Milo is open to a long-distance adoption—love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion!
