Max
Young • Male • Large
Meet Max! A spirited almost two-year-old Siberian Husky currently living in Delta, PA, whose essence is a whirlwind of joyful energy wrapped in a striking white and gray coat. Max is a walking (and running!) reminder of how fun life can be with a four-legged friend by your side. Bursting with enthusiasm, he’s always ready for a game of fetch, a sprint through the yard, or an impromptu game of “chase me if you can.” He’s the kind of companion who will get you off the couch and into adventure mode—whether it’s a long hike or a neighborhood stroll at sunrise. And when the excitement winds down, Max is equally content curling up for a well-earned nap, often snoozing like a fluffy little log. Max is in that delightful stage of life where everything is a game, and every person is a potential new best friend. He currently shares his days with four children ranging from 7 to 18, and he handles the bustling household with grace and gentle good manners. He’s also friendly with other dogs, like the family Shih Tzu, though he could use a buddy closer to his size for truly energetic play. True to his Husky roots, Max is intelligent, independent, and, yes—stubborn! Training will require some patience, but he’s a quick learner, especially when rewarded with pets, praise, and his favorite toys. Treats don’t quite do it for him, but a squeaky toy or a good belly rub? Now that’s his kind of motivation! Max is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He thrives with routine and would do best with an active family that can offer him a fenced yard, regular walks, and plenty of playtime. He may whine a little when left alone, but he settles down quickly—usually with a nap and dreams of his next big adventure! Could your heart and home be the perfect match for this hilarious, high-energy Husky with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging? If you're interested in providing Max with a loving home, please email [email protected] for more information on adopting him! Please note that Max will remain with his current family until a suitable new home is found for him.
Norman
Young • Male • Large
Meet Norman! A spirited approximately one-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky/American Pitbull Terrier mix from sunny Los Angeles, CA, now embracing the snowy wonderland of Lowell, MI! With his striking tricolor coat and mesmerizing mismatched eyes—one blue, one brown—Norman is a true head-turner. But it’s not just his looks that make him special; this high-energy, adventure-loving pup is always ready for fun! Norman thrives on movement, whether he’s dashing through the snow, leaping over fallen trees, or chasing after his beloved red ball. His enthusiasm is boundless, and he’s eager to share his love for playtime with an active family. Though he’s still working on leash manners, he’s made great progress and loves the freedom of a long lead for fetch sessions. Norman picks up training at lightning speed—he already knows “sit,” “wait,” “place,” “stay,” and “leave it.” Plus, he’s trained with the “yes” marker, making him a fantastic student who’s always eager to learn. He’s also a perfect gentleman in his crate, settling in like a pro when it’s time to rest. While Norman is friendly and curious about other dogs, he does have a strong prey drive—squirrels beware! He hasn’t had much experience with cats, so that’s still a mystery. And when it comes to water? Well, he’s still deciding how he feels about it. Lately, he’s been getting used to being in and around water, even exploring the creek for the first time! Shallow water is becoming less intimidating, and he’s making great progress—one paw at a time! Norman is seeking a home with experienced guardians who understand high-energy breeds and can provide plenty of structure, training, and activity. He thrives on both physical and mental challenges, so an active household willing to take him on adventures would be ideal. Due to his discomfort around young children, a home without little ones is recommended. Older kids may be fine with proper supervision. He’s highly food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding, and with positive reinforcement, he’ll continue to grow into the confident, well-mannered companion he’s meant to be! Norman recently completed his Lyme disease treatment and is currently doing great—he doesn’t show any symptoms and isn’t on any medications at this time. He’ll be retested in about five months to ensure everything stays on track. In the meantime, he’s as playful, affectionate, and adventurous as ever! Norman is eager to find a new loving home where he can run, learn, and cuddle up after a day of play. Could you be the one to welcome this spirited goofball into your life? If you're interested in providing Norman with a loving home, please email [email protected] for more information on adopting him! Please note that Norman will remain with his current family until a suitable new home is found for him. Also, Norman is open to a long-distance adoption—love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion!
