Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Mila, 2 year old spayed female, Pit Bull/AmStaff mix, 45 pounds. Mila is in a foster home in San Antonio, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Mila is in the same foster home as Mylo, another Dizzy Dog. Mila plays well with all dog sizes - her foster mom has two <15lb chihuahuas and a dachshund, a 60lb mix breed female, 64lb red heeler mix male, and then Mylo, a 55lb cattle dog mix. She seems to most enjoy the larger female and male dogs, as they can keep up with her energy. Mila does well when meeting other dogs but her foster notes she has a bad habit of jumping on her canine buddies as her preferred method of greeting, and some dogs may not like this. She also hogs food and treats, scarfing down her own and then going out to steal her siblings', so her foster feeds Mila separately just to ensure continued household harmony. She's not shown any aggression though. Mila is smart, young and very teachable, quickly picking up on new lessons. She loves exploring, super curious. She can be outgoing but tends to stay near her Foster Mom, playing with toys or running around burning off some of her energy. She does need training to improve her positive doggy social interactions and play skills, as well as to perfect her leash walking as she is not very good on one. She's a strong puller and side winds. She would likely do best in a Gentle Leader head collar or no-pull style harness until she masters this art. Mila has not been crate trained yet, since there is always someone home and she has access to a doggy door to come and go as she pleases. She has proven herself trustworthy to be left alone while unsupervised as long as no food has been left out and the trash cans are empty. For this reason, Mila may do best in a home where someone is home more than they're away. Mila has been around her foster's young to older grandkids (1y, 10y, and preteens) and done well, as she's not interested in them much. While Mila would probably be okay with kids of all ages, we generally recommend homes with children who are over the age of 10yrs, or those who can understand and will respect animal behavior cues. We do not have any history with cats. She is very people oriented and follows her Foster Mom around everywhere, laying in the kitchen while she's washing dishes and then sitting close by outside once done. She does not seem to have ever met a stranger, and gets super excited to say hello to new friends. She is affectionate and very cuddly, laying down nearby and asking for pets and kisses. She looks like she's got eyeliner around her eyes, and always has a sweet soft look about her which is in contrast to her very deep bark. Mila's ideal home would be with a moderately to very active family who has no/older kids, at least one other dog, and wants a running partner or outdoors companion. She's still young and needs some training (she gets too excited, poor leash skills, etc.) and redirection to correct unwanted behaviors, but she is a very sweet girl who craves love and attention, and strives to please with lots of reassurance. If her Furever Family is patient and understanding, and gives her ample time to adjust, she will do well no matter who makes this girl their own. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Patty is a 2 year old spayed female Lab/German Shepherd Dog mix, weighing 51lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Patty, aka Tinkerbell, is quite the social butterfly, playing well with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. She can play hard, but knows when it’s time to relax! She currently lives with several other pups and enjoys playing catch and tug the toy with them. She would do great with another pup in the home, but with a lot of attention and enrichment, she will be content as the one and only. She has not been around cats or kids, but we do feel she’d do well in a family setting. She is a cuddly, affectionate pup that would thrive in an active home! Patty is a great dog for someone who has a lot of love to give. This sweet girl will return that love and then some. Patty’s trust in her foster mom is very evident. She looks to her when she is nervous, reading her energy in new situations. If her human is calm and encouraging, Patty will follow that lead, showing her incredible connection to her people.  Patty is not only gorgeous, but a smartie too! She is crate trained, potty trained and has done amazing learning new tricks, as long as there are snacks involved! This girl LOVES her food! When it is feeding time, she does this adorable little lip lick smack. It is the cutest thing! We do recommend feeding her separately as she will try to sample everyone else’s food too. Patty is the full package! Zara

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Zara is a 1.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix weighing 56 pounds, and she’s currently being fostered in San Antonio, TX. Once an approved adopter is lined up, she can transport out of state (arranged by our rescue!). Zara is pure sunshine in a slightly chunky, wiggly package. She’s never met a stranger — just new friends she hasn’t flopped her whole body against yet! While she may feel a little unsure in brand-new places, give her a few minutes and she’ll blossom into a happy, goofy, lovebug. Her sweet, silly personality is impossible not to fall for. One of Zara’s absolute favorite things in the world? Other dogs. She thrives around canine buddies and would do best in a home with another confident pup to show her the ropes. She’s respectful of other dogs' boundaries, takes social cues well, and lights up when she has a friend to romp with. We don’t have any info on how she does with cats, but she’s got more than enough love to keep any human or dog sibling smiling. This girl has some of the best zoomies in the business — we’re talking full-speed joyful laps, playful parkour, and dramatic spinning sits that are equal parts hilarious and heart-melting. She plays hard and loves even harder. Once she’s tired herself out, she’ll climb right into your lap like she’s an 8-pound Chihuahua and snooze away with a big grin on her face. Zara gives deluxe snuggles. Because she doesn’t quite realize how strong and bouncy she is when she’s excited, we recommend a home with older children who can enjoy her energy without being bowled over. Zara is still polishing up her potty training and does best with regular crate breaks every 4–5 hours. She’s also working on building her confidence when walking in new places — she does great in familiar settings but can freeze when things feel scary. With some patience and gentle encouragement, she’s going to blossom into a confident, well-rounded companion. Zara is the total package — goofy, loving, dog-friendly, and eager to please. All she needs now is someone to believe in her and give her the safe, snuggly forever home she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a canine bestie for your pup, or just a reason to smile every single day… Zara is your girl. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Danna

Meet Danna ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Danna is a 4 month old female Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, weighing 32lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Danna was found trying to survive on the streets as just a 12lb puppy. She was being attacked by the bigger dogs and her feeders feared for her safety. Thankfully, an amazing foster family heard their pleas and gave this sweet girl a chance at the good life! Despite her rough start, Danna loves everyone and has a zest for adventure! She has a blast playing with other dogs and can often be found running around in the back yard or playing with her toys. She does know when her dog friends want to stop playing, and respects their boundaries. Danna is a cuddly, affectionate pup that would thrive in an active home! She has a LOT of puppy energy, but really enjoys snuggle time with her people. She does not live with kids, but has done well with the ones she’s met. Because of her size and enthusiasm, we do recommend a home with older children. This gorgeous gem is crate trained, mostly potty trained and working on her puppy manners. She’s not a fan of a leash, but with time and patience, she’ll be the best girl ever! We do recommend feeding her separately as she is still learning that she no longer has to fight for her food. Danna is ready to be part of a loving family, so please let us know if you’re the one! We do not know Danna’s exact breed but we suspect she will be a large dog once fully grown. Her best fit will be with a family that understands what it means to raise a big, active pup into a well-mannered adult. We’re looking for adopters who will provide her with regular socialization, positive training, and plenty of outlets for exercise, play, and enrichment. For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away, as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will is available to spend time with this puppy while you are away. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application. NOTE: $100 OF YOUR ADOPTION DONATION WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER YOU SHOW PROOF OF FUTURE SPAY/NEUTER. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Gina is an 6 month old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix, weighing 40lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Gina was picked up off the street after being dumped. She was sleeping in a cardboard box, hanging out right next to a really busy road in a bad part of town. She didn’t have the greatest start in life, but thanks to an amazing foster, she has the chance to find a loving home of her very own. This sweet puppy enjoys the company of familiar dog friends. Gina loves playing tug of war with her little dog foster siblings and will often go find one of the tug toys and lay it beside one of them as if she's asking them to play. She can be a little apprehensive of dogs that are bigger than her and will bark at ones she doesn’t know. Sadly, she was attacked by adult dogs while on the street, so she will do best with slow introductions. She currently lives and plays with small dogs under 15 lbs and large dogs over 75 lbs in her foster home. We do recommend a cat free home as she is a bit too enthusiastic when she sees the neighborhood kitties. Gina seeks human attention but, has not been around any children while in foster care. She can be jumpy when excited and has no clue how big she is, so we do suggest a home with older (10 and up) dog savvy kids. She would do best in an active home, with someone who is going to play with her daily. She absolutely LOVES toys! She likes to collect them and put them all in her bed.  She has learned how to play fetch, but will keep herself entertained too. She will do well with a family with older kids, a couple, or even someone who lives alone. We believe it would be good to have another dog in the home to keep her company and help her burn off that puppy energy. Gina is a beautiful dog is going to be a great addition to the right family! Gina is crate trained and working on house training. She is crated up to 8 hours at a time with no accidents. This smartie walks pretty well on a leash and shows no signs of separation anxiety! She does prefer to eat her treats alone and is in the puppy velociraptor stage, so will need direction on appropriate things to chew. We do not know Gina’s exact breed but we suspect she will be a large dog once fully grown. Her best fit will be with a family that understands what it means to raise a big, active pup into a well-mannered adult. We’re looking for adopters who will provide her with regular socialization, positive training and plenty of outlets for exercise, play, and enrichment. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. At 1 year old, Piper is a beautiful Labrador Retriever mix with a joyful spirit and an irresistible zest for life. Weighing around 45-50 lbs, she’s the perfect size for both fun outdoor activities and snuggles on the couch. Piper is spayed, vaccinated, and currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TEXAS. Once matched with an approved adopter, she’s ready to transport out of state to her forever home. Piper is an energetic, affectionate companion with a personality that lights up any room. She’s house-trained, kennel-trained, and eager to learn whatever you’d like to teach her—especially if there are treats involved! Piper is a smart cookie who loves to please, and her love of learning makes training fun for both her and her humans. Playtime is Piper’s specialty, and she’s always ready for a game of tug-of-war, a wrestling match with a doggy friend, or a good old-fashioned romp in the yard. Her playful nature is balanced by her affectionate side—she adores spending time with her people and is happiest when she’s close by, soaking up the love. Piper gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in an active home with canine companions to share in her adventures. Like many young dogs, Piper can get a little cheeky when left to her own devices and may sneak a chew on something she shouldn’t. But with some guidance, training, and redirection, she’s sure to learn the ropes quickly. Piper would do well in a home where she has plenty of opportunities to stay active, engaged, and showered with love. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Candice, 1y 6mo old spayed female, Shiba Inu/Chow Chow mix, 42 pounds. Candice is in a foster home in San Antonio, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Candice lives in a home with another dog and loves to play. Her brother, Bucky, is about 45 pounds and a bit bigger in height than she is, and she loves him. She was also at the shelter with her puppy, and in general does well no matter the size of dog she meets. She is very considerate and picks up cues well. When she sees her brother is done playing, she calms down and goes off to snooze. As soon as he's ready though, she picks up right where they left off playing and running for hours! She has a lot to say when she sees other dogs but she is extremely friendly with her canine friends, and just likes attention (who doesn't?). Once dogs get close enough to her, she wags her tail and attempts to initiate play, sniffing and trying to get closer to them, too. She's very high energy and plays pulling rope or just running around. Candice is good with children, she is a very calm dog when she isn't playing around. In general, we recommend homes with kids who are over the age of 10yrs or those who can understand and will respect animal behavior cues. That said, we have no reason to believe Candice would not be a great sibling to small babies. Candice hasn't been around cats in her foster home but when she seems them on her walks, she does try to chase them or scare them. Candice does okay on a leash, she often tries to pull if you aren't walking fast enough for her. All you have to say is "No pulling" and she’ll stop. She is very strong on leash so we'd recommend a harness or Gentle Leader head collar since she doesn't care that the Martingale collar is choking her, she’ll keep walking. Candice is still improving on her house skills, she's about 75% potty trained. Her foster says Candice doesn't alert when she needs to go especially at night, so sometimes she will have accidents seemingly out of the blue. Candice's new pawrents should understand that some regression is normal and to be expected until she gets settled into the new routine and learns the schedule. Candice is crate trained for up to 5hrs or more, usually when no one is at home. She does great and really enjoys her kennel time. She's not been allowed loose in the home when unsupervised because she has a lot of "puppy" in her and will chew plastic boxes, pillows and other easily shredded items. Candice needs a HIGH ENERGY home where she'll be active most of the day. In her foster home, Candice goes on a morning 5mi run and a shorter afternoon walk. Even after the runs, she still has her zoomies at home and her and Bucky run all over the house. Candice is very cuddly and loves her belly rubs and kisses. She's super affectionate and enjoys meeting strangers, although she will bark when she first encounters them. Once she has the opportunity to give them the sniff-spection, she's loosey goosey and ready to play. She's very loyal and will not leave your sight when outside and off leash. Candice's foster describes her as smart and independent, and says she's a pro at figuring out ways to sneak into their duck house. She will keep you on your toes and that is for sure! Candice would love to have a canine sibling or one of the two-legged variety to play around in the back yard and share her toys/treats with. She would be best served in a house with a back yard and lots of mental and physical enrichment opportunities. She would appreciate pawrents who are willing to work with her on the few manners she needs to improve before she is even more The Best Girl. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Currently thriving in a loving foster home in TEXAS, Angel has come such a long way since she first arrived—timid, unsure, and wary of the world. With time, patience, and kindness, she’s blossomed into a joyful, curious, and affectionate young dog who’s ready to find a forever family to call her own. Angel may still be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she warms up, she transforms into a tail-wagging, happy-go-lucky girl who just wants to be near you. She greets her favorite humans with a gentle wiggle and soft eyes that say, “I’m so glad you’re here.” Her journey from nervous to confident is a beautiful testament to her resilience—and the kind of loyalty she’ll offer to the people who give her a chance. This girl is a total social butterfly when it comes to other dogs! Angel lights up around other pups, wagging her tail, initiating play, and joyfully zooming around the yard. She’d thrive in a home with another playful, friendly dog to keep her company and help her continue to grow in confidence. She’s also perfectly content playing solo—she adores toys, especially tennis balls and squeakers, and can entertain herself with fetch, tug, or just carrying her favorites around with pride. Angel is active and athletic—she loves running laps in the yard, going on walks, and exploring new environments—but she’s also wonderfully balanced. Once she’s had her fun, she’s more than happy to settle in for a nap or cuddle on the couch. She’ll curl up right next to you, soaking up the affection and giving it right back in quiet, loving companionship. She’s doing great with her routine in foster care and would thrive with continued structure and gentle guidance. Her ideal family will be one that gives her the time she needs to build trust, and in return, she’ll offer unwavering love, joyful energy, and loyal companionship. Angel is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, silly and sweet. Whether she’s romping through the backyard with a toy or gently laying her head on your lap at the end of a long day, she’s guaranteed to brighten your life with her gentle heart and loving nature. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Brody – a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix with the perfect mix of playful energy and easygoing charm. Currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS, Brody is ready to transport out of state once his forever family is approved. Brody is that rare, wonderful balance of being active enough to enjoy outdoor adventures and mellow enough to fully embrace a lazy day of Netflix and cuddles. Whether he’s chasing a toy in the backyard or melting into your side with his signature tongue-out smile, Brody is the definition of a lovable goofball. He doesn’t mind getting dressed up for holidays or themed events—he’s happy to strut in his rodeo best or festive costume, just as long as he’s doing it with his people. Brody has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and tends to prefer a more relaxed playmate. Because of his size and love for running, he may be a bit much for smaller or more timid dogs, but he’s also fully content being your one-and-only pup, as long as he has space to stretch his legs and get some zoomies out in the yard. A home with a secure backyard is ideal for him to enjoy some off-leash play. He’s a gentle sweetheart with people—always happy to meet new faces and has done well with the children he’s met. Because of his playful energy, we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy kids (8–10+) who are steady on their feet and understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody would love nothing more than a buddy to play with, run around the yard, and then wind down with for snuggles. No cats for Brody, please, as he’s not quite sure how to share space with feline friends. When it comes to leash manners, Brody is a total gentleman. He walks calmly on a loose leash, stays close by, and enjoys a good stroll. He’s also fully housebroken and crate trained, and does wonderfully in his crate when left unsupervised, especially since he currently shares a home with other dogs. He loves his plush toys—especially giving their faces a little “customization” with his enthusiastic chomps! Brody is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please. He thrives in a home that offers structure, consistency, and encouragement. His foster mom has put in great work helping him polish his obedience skills, and he’s made huge progress! While he may still get a little excited around assertive male dogs, with calm guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s continued to show how well he can adapt. He would be a great match for someone with experience with Cattle Dogs, Pitbulls, or other intelligent working breeds. These dogs are deeply loyal, affectionate, and thrive when they have a purpose—whether that’s going on a hike, learning a new trick, or just being your loyal shadow. Brody doesn’t need a super active lifestyle, but he would love a couple of daily walks, light adventure time, and maybe a fun activity like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes to keep his mind sharp and his bond with you strong. At the end of the day, Brody is a happy, affectionate, low-maintenance boy who’s easy to please. All he wants is a soft bed, a few toys, a cozy home, and someone to love him. He’s come so far during his time in foster care and is more than ready to start his next chapter with a family who sees how truly special he is. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
