Flannel - ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED 100%
Adult • Male • Medium
Meet Flannel! Hey there, I’m Flannel, a charming terrier mix with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure! I weigh about 45lbs and am working on gaining a bit more. I was born around August 2019, and my journey to the shelter was quite the tale. The local police department found me as a stray and brought me here. Despite our best efforts to find my previous family, no one came forward. So now, I’m patiently waiting for my happily ever after. When I first arrived, I wasn’t in the best shape. I had some hair loss, likely due to fleas, and I was quite skinny. But thanks to the amazing Vet Staff here, those pesky fleas are gone, and I’m on the right diet. I’m already growing back some of my fur and slowly gaining weight. I just need a loving family to help me continue my journey to full health. I absolutely love my toys! Whether it’s a ball or a squeaky toy, I’m always up for some fun. I enjoy being outside, taking walks, running around off-leash in the dog run, or just hanging out in the grass getting belly rubs from the volunteers. I’m very scent-driven and love going on “sniffaris” during my daily walks. Puzzle toys and snuffle mats are my favorite mind-enriching activities. I’m very treat-motivated and super smart. I already know ‘sit’ and ‘down’, and continuing my training at home will be a fun bonding activity. I’ve met a couple of the other shelter dogs here, and while I can be a bit selective, I’m open to making new friends. If you already have a dog at home, we can schedule a meet and greet to see if we get along. I have a very high prey drive and will do best in a home without cats or small dogs. I love to play and chase things and this can be too much for smaller animals. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and smart companion, I’m your guy! Let’s set up a meet and greet and see if we’re a perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever home! Love, Flannel Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $21, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash. Blue - ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED 100%
Adult • Male • Medium
Meet Blue: Your Future Best Friend! Hello there! My name is Blue, and I’m an incredibly cute terrier mix. I currently weigh a healthy and robust 56 lbs, but don’t let that fool you—I’m smaller in stature than you might think! Everyone here tells me I’m the cutest, and I have to agree with them. ? My journey to this place has been full of ups and downs. Before coming here, I lived at another place similar to this one. A really amazing person adopted me, and we both thought it would be forever. Unfortunately, forever was cut way too short when my previous owner passed away shortly after adopting me. But don’t worry, this place has been taking such good care of me since then, and I have so many humans who love me, and I love them back! They all ask me almost daily, “Blue, why are you still here, buddy?” And I just don’t have the answer. Let me tell you a little about what makes me an awesome companion: Loyalty: When I know you, I love you with everything that I am. Friendly: I really enjoy all the human friends I’ve made since arriving. I get to go on lots of walks, trips to the outdoor fenced-in dog run, and one of the amazing vet techs takes me to the local park almost every day for her lunch. We walk and walk, and she tells everyone how well I do there. While there we stroll along the bank of the water and I really love it. The water is so refreshing on my toe beans! Car Rides: I even do wonderfully in the car on the ride to and from the park. Tidy: I love to keep my kennel nice and tidy as long as I am walked regularly. So, I’m pretty sure I will transition quickly to a new home and house training. I was crate trained in my previous home. Playful: I love to play with toys! It doesn’t matter what kind, but I especially love anything that makes noise. If I could lay in a big comfy bed with a pile of my favorite toys surrounding me, that would be a little slice of heaven! Even though I’m a pro at my routine here, I am an anxiety warrior. I take daily medicine for anxiety because this place can be a lot for a dog like me, and the medicine helps me get through the day-to-day hustle and bustle of it all. I think my perfect match would be someone who has a lot of energy like I do. Someone who is active and can take me to the park, on walks, and play with me daily would be so awesome! I am very smart and treat-motivated. I already know sit, down, and off. I would love to learn more with my future family so I can show off just how smart I truly am. So now that you know a little bit about what makes me, me, do you think we can be the perfect match for each other? If you give me a chance to woo you in a meet and greet, I promise you won’t be disappointed! Crouton
Adult • Male • Medium
Meet Crouton With a name like Crouton, you'd expect a crunchy side dish, not a compact bundle of charisma with webbed feet. We’re still trying to figure out if those toes mean he's part duck, part dog, or just gearing up for a career in competitive swimming. Either way, he's ready to make a splash… probably in your bathtub. Crouton is outrageously friendly, outrageously cute, and outrageously obsessed with treats and butt scratches. He’s got the social skills of a golden retriever at a backyard BBQ and the tidiness of someone who’s watched one too many cleaning TikToks. This guy keeps his kennel so clean it might qualify for a rental listing. In short? Crouton’s got the charm, the swimwear (natural edition), and the housekeeping chops to be your next couch companion. Come meet him before he signs a deal with a pet food brand and forgets the little people. Tick
Adult • Male • Medium
Meet Tick After spending weeks as a stray, Tick came to us carrying more than 100 ticks—and somehow, not a shred of bitterness. He’s calm, affectionate, and has a kind soul that shines through in everything he does. He loves rolling in the grass, tossing toys around the play yard, and settling in for quiet snuggles on the couch. Tick is fully house-trained and always keeps his kennel clean overnight. Because of the heavy tick exposure, he’ll need a repeat test in a few weeks to check for any tick-borne illnesses. Even if something shows up, he can still head home—with a few weeks of antibiotics and a whole lot of love. He’s been through a lot, and now he’s ready for a home that gives back the same gentle care he offers so freely. Approximate Birth Date - 07/09/2022 Size - Large (53lbs) Likes - Rolling in the grass, cuddling, lounging on his bed. Other dogs - Tick has yet to be dog tested.
