We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Duque (pronounced Duke-ay) – The Happy-Go-Lucky Lab Mix Who’s Never Met a Stranger ? Duque has been patiently waiting over a year for a family to call his own, and we honestly can’t understand why. This 1.5 years old, 6o-pound, neutered Lab mix is the total package—affectionate, playful, goofy, and absolutely bursting with love. He’s currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, Texas, and can transport out of state to an approved adopter. Duque is one of those dogs who’s never met a stranger. He greets everyone with a wagging tail, bright eyes, and a heart full of love. Whether it’s a neighbor, a new dog, or a friend of a friend, Duque is always ready for pets, kisses, and a cuddle. He’s a loyal, loving companion who’s happiest when he’s near his people. True to his Labrador roots, Duque is full of energy and joy. He plays beautifully with other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion. Just a heads-up: his enthusiasm might be too much for calmer or older dogs—he’s a full-throttle fun kind of guy. Duque’s ideal home would be with an active person or family familiar with high-energy breeds. He’ll need daily exercise and enrichment to stay balanced and happy. Apartment life could work only if his person is committed to regular outings like hikes, runs, dog park visits, or doggy daycare. Inside the home, Duque is both crate and house trained. He settles in with a treat and loves to nap after his adventures. He’s also famously vocal at mealtime—expect some enthusiastic “announcements” when dinner’s served, followed by the best food coma snoozes. Training-wise, Duque is smart, eager to please, and responds well to structure. He’s still learning leash manners and can be a bit all over the place, but tools like a slip lead, Gentle Leader, or no-pull harness help a lot. Duque hasn’t lived with cats or kids, though he’s shown curiosity toward cats. We recommend slow, careful introductions if cats are in the home. For families with children, older kids (8+) who are steady on their feet would be best, as he could accidentally knock over younger toddlers during play. Duque is a true lovebug with a big heart and even bigger smile. He’s been waiting far too long to find his forever family—and we just know the right person is out there. ? If you're looking for a goofy, loyal, cuddly, social pup to be your hiking buddy, adventure pal, and best friend—Duque’s your guy.

IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Herman, 1 year old (estimated DOB March 2024), neutered male, Hound mix. currently weighs 38 pounds. Herman is in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Meet Herman – The Sweet, Playful Pup Still Searching for His Family! Herman is a happy, wiggly young pup who has been waiting far too long to find his forever home. While all of his siblings and his mom have already been adopted, this playful boy is still patiently hoping that his turn is next. He's a hound mix (with a little something else sprinkled in, given his medium build), and like most hounds, he’s got a wonderfully vocal personality—he’s not afraid to share his thoughts! Herman is incredibly friendly with dogs, cats, and kids. He’s a loving boy who enjoys giving kisses, chasing toys, and romping around the yard with his dog buddies. He has a sweet, curious spirit and has really grown up learning how to be a well mannered adult dog. He’s potty trained and semi-crate trained. While he’s not the biggest fan of his kennel just yet, he’s making progress! He loves to play with toys and enjoys chewing on bones. This boy has the cutest little wiggle walk when he’s excited and is always ready for fun and adventure. He loves to play, run, and explore, but he’s also happy to settle in for cuddles when the day winds down. Herman will do best with a family ready to continue his training and socialization, provide structure, and offer plenty of daily exercise and mental enrichment. Herman is looking for a forever family who understands that young dogs require time, guidance, and love. He’s ready to bring laughter, adventure, and lots of love into your life. Will you be the one to give him the home he’s been waiting for? ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Aaron

***Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time*** We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Aaron's story is one of heartbreak and hope. He and his six siblings were found literally discarded in a trash can — thrown away like garbage. But thanks to one of our amazing foster families, these precious puppies got a second chance. Now, Aaron is growing up surrounded by love, learning what it means to be safe, cherished, and wanted. Aaron is a 5-month-old, neutered male, currently weighing about 15 pounds. We believe he may be a Spaniel/Terrier mix, but that’s just our best guess — no DNA test on file, and no promises on how big he'll get! What we do know is that he's adorable, spirited, and full of potential. He is located in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and is able to transport out of State once an adopter is approved. Meet Aaron! This energetic little guy is full of life and puppy curiosity. Like most young puppies, Aaron isn’t housebroken or crate trained yet. He’ll need a patient, consistent family who understands that raising a puppy takes time, routine, and lots of guidance. The good news? Aaron is smart, eager to learn, and naturally curious — all the makings of a great student! Aaron is well-socialized with his siblings and the other dogs in his foster home, and he’s had some exposure to children, too. We don’t know how he’d do with cats just yet, as he hasn’t met any. He’s active, playful, and still discovering the world. Because he hasn’t had much experience outside his home environment, he may be a bit shy or nervous in new situations. His ideal home will be one that’s excited to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog — with lots of positive experiences, structure, and love along the way. Due to his age, we expect someone to be home more often than not. Puppies this young shouldn’t be left alone for longer than 4 hours at a time. If you work outside of the home, please include in your application who will be stopping by each day to let Aaron out, spend time with him, and continue his routine. If this isn’t clearly outlined, we won’t be able to consider your application. Aaron is a survivor. Now, he’s ready to find a family who sees him not as a burden, but as the treasure he truly is. Ready to give Aaron the life he deserves? ? ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Martini

___ Meet Martini – affectionately known as Mr. Bubbles – a 9-month-old neutered male Terrier mix with a bubbly personality and a heart that’s just as big as his puppy eyes. He currently weighs about 23 pounds. NOTE: We're making our best guess on breed based on appearance and behavior, and we believe this group is a mix of multiple breeds. He has been in the same home since he was born, so will need a patient transition. Born on October 25, 2024, Mr. Bubbles is currently in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, and is ready to transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Martini is part of the “Drink Litter,” a group of adorable puppies born in care after their owner asked for help finding them forever homes. Their mom is a 20-pound Chihuahua mix, so we expect Martini to stay on the smaller side when full grown—perfect for cuddling, carrying, and constant companionship. True to his nickname, Mr. Bubbles has a bright, joyful spirit. He’s playful, curious, and always ready to make you laugh with his silly antics. He loves discovering new toys, chasing after his siblings, and exploring his surroundings with tail wags and happy hops. But once the playtime winds down, he turns into a total snugglebug, eager to curl up in your arms or on your lap for a cozy nap. Martini is doing well with puppy pads but is not fully house-trained yet. He’s not crate trained either, but he’s sleeping through the night and adjusting well to daily routines. Like any young pup, he’ll thrive with positive reinforcement, gentle structure, and lots of love. He’s been around kids and other dogs and does great—friendly, playful, and appropriately gentle. He hasn’t been around cats, but with his sweet and easygoing personality, we think he could do well with slow, supervised introductions. He still has his baby teeth and sometimes jumps with excitement, so supervision around younger kiddos is recommended. Martini is already neutered and ready for his forever home. Puppies this age need someone home more often than not to help them grow into happy, well-adjusted adult dogs. If you're away for more than 4 hours at a time, we ask that you share your plan for his care and development during that time. Martini is looking for a family who will include him in all of life’s adventures and snuggle sessions. With his joyful energy, loving nature, and cuddly personality, Martini is ready to be someone’s favorite little shadow—and he can’t wait to find his person. __ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Negroni – also known as Diego – a 9-month-old neutered male Terrier mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of sweetness. He currently weighs 24 pounds. NOTE: We're making our best guess on breed based on appearance and behavior, and we believe this group is a mix of multiple breeds. Born on October 25, 2024, Diego is currently in a loving foster home in San Antonio, TEXAS, and is eligible for out-of-state transport once an approved adopter is in place. Negroni is one of the adorable pups from the “Drink Litter,” born safely in care after his owner asked for help finding loving homes for the puppies. His mom is a 20-pound Chihuahua mix, and we expect Negroni to stay on the smaller side when full grown—ideal for someone looking for a pint-sized companion with a big personality. This little guy is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. Diego is curious, alert, and always eager to explore new things. Whether it’s a new toy, a fun scent in the yard, or the sound of your voice calling him, he’s all in. And once he’s had his fill of playtime? He’s more than ready to curl up for a cuddle and soak up the love. Negroni is currently using puppy pads and doing well, though he’s still working on becoming fully house-trained. He’s not crate-trained just yet, but he’s sleeping through the night and learning the ropes of daily life. Like any puppy, he’ll thrive in a home that provides routine, consistency, and lots of gentle encouragement. He’s been exposed to other dogs and children and gets along wonderfully—friendly, social, and respectful. While he hasn’t met cats yet, we think he’d adapt well to a feline friend with proper introductions. Diego may jump up with excitement or nibble with those tiny baby teeth, so supervision with young children is always recommended. Negroni is already neutered and ready to find his forever family. Puppies like Diego do best in homes where someone is around more often than not to support their development and provide regular potty breaks, training, and lots of love. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, please share your plan for his care and enrichment. With his sweet disposition, playful energy, and love of snuggles, Diego is sure to grow into a loyal, joyful companion. If you're ready for tail wags, puppy kisses, and unconditional love—Diego is ready for you. __ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
